We stayed here for two nights but were a little disappointed. On the plus side the décor is excellent, the rooms very clean and the staff and owners are friendly and welcoming.
On the downside our room was compact with a tiny ensuite which was only the width of a shower tray and the breakfast was minimalistic to say the least, made with ‘economy’ ingredients.
Our biggest disappointment was that the family’s dogs are given free roam of the downstairs and not being dog owners meant we could smell them as soon as we came in. While we are not afraid of dogs we took exception to them sniffing around and pushing into us wanting attention (they are big dogs!).
Dog owners will love the place but if you are not keen think before booking.More
