The Premier Group have mastered the art of providing what a family needs with the minimum amount of fuss. They have cut down all necessary frills to give good basic service at a good price. Breakfast great variety of food. As we paid for room on ariving any other payments were in cash which was fine, Rooms were best we have had as a family but design of shower door in bathroom needs attention as water can flood the bathroom and we ended using a lot of towels to mop it up; not too environmentally friendly.

Room Tip: LEave off the aircon in summer and open the balcony doors

The hotel was easy to find and very central to Bournemouth, I had no qualms at all about this weekend stay although it was expensive but you are paying for the area and time of year but I do feel that the car parking was overly expensive and I feel that Premier Inn could waiver the charges for their hotel guests. Hasnt put me off and I would go again.

Room Tip: Nice rooms on the 7th floor with pier views and a balcony

Had a great 4 day week stay at the hotel,really nice hotel,parking was very easy to find once we got the right sat nav address from the receptionist ( the one on the website is not correct so call ahead and ask ) once parked the lifts take you straight down to hotel which is easy.Room 800 was lovely however couldnt get out on the balcony as locked and they wont open it.Views were lovely however this as my husband said was torturous as he just wanted to go outside :-) the location is amazing ,loved everything close by,shopping center,resturants,cinema,gardens with an opera singer !! fantastic..and the beach was wonderfull.The resturant "the Crab" is amazing has great sea food and very resonable.Loved bourmouth and would come back in a heart beat :-)

We stayed here on a cheap night away and had a family room. The hotel is opposite the Pavilion Theatre, a stones throw away from the beach and the town centre. The hotel itself is really nice and found all the staff to be friendly and helpful.
But the best thing for us was the room, we had a family room which in the past with Travelodge you usually get a hard, uncomfortable sofa bed. But in Premier Inn we had a double bed, a proper single bed and even a single put u up bed!. The room was extremely big and even with the extra beds did not seem cramp.
On top of that, we had the best bathroom that i had seen in a long time! A bath with a shower over and a seperate shower cubicle that was huge!!
I'm now a convert, never again will i stay in Travelodge, Premier Inn has betten them hands down!. So much nicer, cleaner and better service.
Can't wait to stay at this hotel again. Top Marks Premier Inn!!

* Business Trip in July 2011
* Excellent business facilities with Costa Coffees, white boards, flip charts, tv and excellent service
* Large, clean rooms
* Art deco features throughout communal areas
* Good food and service
* Perfect location to explore Bournemouth (although not a flat walk from hotel to beach - pretty steep descent to beach)
* Car Park attached is nearly £13 for 24hrs (or £1 an hour if you don't get the hotel discount card) - quite small spaces in car park so large 4x4s might struggle?
* No free WiFi - about £5 a day and you have to go through a registration process

Would definteiy use again for business and pleasure

I remembered this hotel from years ago when I think it was part of a luxurious Greek chain of hotels. With its distinctive shape and big balconies it had always caught my eye. So I was intrigued whilst staying at the Royal Bath last year to see that it is now a Premier Inn. Then when the latest 'Rooms from £29' campaign came on TV Ithought I'd see what I could find. No £29 rooms but I found a Sunday & Monday where double rooms could be had for £39 a night - still a fabulous bargain! Having stayed in a few Premier Inns I have always found the quality consistent, they are spacious, clean, comfortable and good value. The brand is very strong brand with uniform decor so I was delighted to find that they had managed to retain their branding whilst being sympathetic to and celebrating this lovely art deco building. The elegance of the hotel can be best appreciated in the foyer, restaurant and bar. We enjoyed a lovely sea view from our room (balconies come mainly with Family Rooms apparently). There were some nice touches like the glass door to the bathroom and stylish square handbasin. Staff were without exception welcoming and helpful. We had an evening meal on our first night, it was very tasty and my steak was cooked exactly as requested (rare). The meal deal (breakfast, 3 course meal and drink at £22 is excellent value). Buffet Breakfast at £7.99 compares very well to breakfasts I have had in other hotels and paid £20 for. Will definitely stay again. Please, please Premier Inn don't ever give this hotel a corporate makeover - it is a gem!
PS I recommend the Sea Train Adventure - boat to Swanage, steam train to Corfe Castle and return journey all for £20. Book at the kiosk by Bournemouth Pier. Very pleasant way to spend a day.

Room Tip: Be there by 2pm to book in

Travelled to Bournemouth as a couple to get away for a couple of days, and chose this Premier Inn to stay.

Really enjoyed our stay at this Premier Inn, the room was big, clean and comfy, and the bar was a really nice place to just sit with a drink and chill out. The hotel is a really short walk from the seafront and the town centre which was a very ideal location.

I cant fault this hotel in any way, we really enjoyed every aspect and would be more than happy to return to this premier inn if we travel to bournemouth again, i really recommend.
