Like a previous reviewer we were disappointed not to get a room with a balcony, but it does seem to be the luck of the draw. My (90 year old) mum and I had a 'sea view' - we looked over the theatre and could see the sea and a bit of the coastline and it was good. My mum was concerned that we were staying in a Premier Inn; she equates it with a cheap stopover but she was very impressed. The staff were friendly, the rooms and hotel in general were very clean. But it was the ease of access to the pier, the gardens and the shops that was impressive. A very good experience.

Room Tip: Check in as early as you can to stand a chance of getting a room with a balcony or at the very least...

We just got back from a three night stay, really pleased, large sea view family room, spotless bathroom,we had our two children aged3&5, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, always polite and friendly, good breakfast catered for all tastes,we asked for balcony key so we could enjoy the sea view, in the evening.only downside was having to pay for parking, but would definitely use this hotel again

Great hotel and location, and I understand that some people get a great deal, probably depending on when you book. But, we had the frustration of finding out at check-in that all the large sea view rooms with balconies that everybody seems to rave about had all gone. So we paid over £100 p/n for a much smaller room than expected. Probably our fault for checking in at 6pm on a Saturday in July. I'd probably stay again but book further in advance and definitely check in as early as possible. Breakfast was very good!

Room Tip: Check in early, early, early!

Our stay here was fantastic, it was the 2nd time we have stayed at this Premier Inn. The hotel is top class, spotless and the staff are so friendly. The parking is good value for money too. We had the deal for a 3 course meal + breakfast the following day for £22 each!! Excellent value and lovely food. We would definately return here.

As previous reviewers have said: it is a chain but boy what a nice one. Great location, great (Art Deco) building, friendly staff and well appointed rooms.

In line with all Premier Inn's you can not request a seaview room, you get what you get. But still a very nice large room.

Also standard Premier Inn Breakfast: nothing special, VERY basic and to make things worse the coffee machine had broken down and they thought that freeze dried coffee was a good substitute. :( So stay in the hotel and go into town for a good breakfast: it is a shorft stroll to the beach so what better place to have breakfast!

We stayed at the Premier Inn Bournemouth mainly on Trip Advisor Recommendation. I remember the hotel previously from stays at the Royal Bath. The Premier Inn is a credit to the hotel chain, the hotel is from a bygone era and is decorated with a modern twist on a thirties theme, still maintaining original wall lighting and beautiful balustrades. We asked for a sea view room and after signing a disclaimer were given a key for the huge balcony leading from our room. Our room was on the fourth floor, just high enough for the street noise not to be too much of a problem, the room was a great size with a lovely bathroom and great storage.

We opted for the meall deal for dinner on the first night and breakfast the following day. Its a good deal; if you are arriving late its great to relax in the funky bar and have dinner. Unfortunately the new waitress got our main order slightly wrong, however this was very quickly rectified and all extra coffees and drinks were on the house. Breakfast is amazing with a buffet serving hot and cold breakfast goodies, which is endless.

My only complaint was that the walls are faily thin and if you are a couple (like us) travelling with no children you could be sandwiched inbetween families with young children and woken up very early!

All in all a great stay, friendly and very helpful staff.

Booked at the last minute based on the reviews on Trip Advisor. The reviews are accurate.
The staff were excellent at reception and at breakfast. Car Parking was available at £7 per 24 hours with the discount offered to hotel guests. We had a large, quiet room with a very good bathroom. Breakfast was a bargain.

The hotel is very centrally located with the beach about 100 metres away.

It's situated between the YMCA and a casino, but that wasn't a problem when we were there.
