While I was in Bournemouth I did a walk in visit to this hotel. If I had received a better service my husband and I would have stayed the night. My husband needs an adaptable bathroom. I requested to see available adapted accomoodation the receptionist asked a staff member to show me the 2 rooms. The staff member turned out to be a waitress. She was a very pleasant young lady. The first room was at the top of the biulding to the back of the hotel. It did have a balcony which looked over the back of the hotel with a left side view of the town. I wanted to see the bathroom unfortunaltly the light switch wasn't working and there was no window. The second room was on the second floor to the back of the hotel. It was a very large room. However the window faces a brick wall. The is a two foot flat roof which had cigarette butts on it. Again the light switch didn't work and there is no window. On exiting the room the staff member tripped over, there is a raised piece of work. Anyone using or pushing wheelchair would have great difficulty. The cost for this room was £81.00 in Feb. I spoke to the receptionist who wasn't really intrested. I sent an email two weeks ago to premier inn via there web site. Which was duly answered saying... forwarded you compliants to the hotel manager. Still no answer from the hotel manager??
I was also inform there are no adapted rooms at the front of the hotel.
There is a large car park opposite the hotel which is free to blue badge holders.
There are a few steps up to the front of the biulding and a lift inside.
The hotel is in a good position opposite a large park with a walk way to the beach.
