“Excellant break at Premier Inn Bournemouth”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 April 2012

We have stayed in several Premier Inn's and always have a great time but this was the best by far.
Staff couldnt do enough for us, all happy and helpfull. Location is great right in the middle of everthing bars restaurants, shops the Play House. and a short walk to the fantastic beach and pier.
As the hotel sits up on a hill slightly you feel rather grand overlooking the town and beach.
Restaurant offered great food and the eat as much as you like breakfast lasted us till the late afternoon.
The rooms as very large and has a modern feel, the beds and bedding were excellant.
The only down fall was no carparking at hotel but there is parking at the rear of hotel which you have to pay for. If you are a paying guest you get this at a discount. We stayed for two nights and paid £16.00 for parking.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony when you are making a booking, we thought all rooms had these. They do...

This premier inn was outstanding!!! In customer service from the reception team but also Tina and Amina in the restaurant who both gave great service at breakfast and dinner. Nothing was to much, very helpful and took time to talk to us. Our room 408 with a balcony over looking the sea was just great and not at all what we expected. We have had 5 star service and first class room. And will make this a place to go back to. A great base for touring locally.

We visited Bournemouth for one night and were recommended this hotel by a number of people. It was clean and modern and the breakfast was great.

The only negatives would be that the bar was left unattended and we had to wait for a drink for about 10 minutes. When a member of staff did arrive, she wasn't very friendly. Also, the walls are paper thin. Our neighbour decided to put the tv on at a ridiculous time in the morning and it kept us awake.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the front so you get a sea view!

We stayed at this hotel from 19 to 23 March, having stayed at many Premier Inns in the past. This one surpassed the rest. Art deco styling, absolutely beautiful. We were given a room on 7th floor with a sea view, which was wonderful. The room was huge with lovely comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean bathroom. Reception staff most helpful and always pleasant and ready to answer any queries. Ideally situated in central position so we were able to leave the car in the car park and walk to wherever we wanted to go. Most enjoyable break. Would definitely come back.

Room Tip: We had a room on the 7th floor with a sea view which was amazing.

We have stayed in many hotels in Bournemouth over the years and for location, service, food quality, comfort and value - this one beats them all!
The food is impressive - I had the best sirloin steak I've had in years and the breakfasts are great!
The only downside is the beer in the bar - it's Boddingtons and not great ,so if you like real ale, you'll have to visit one of the Wetherspoons pubs nearby!
The car park is easily found at the rear of the hotel - if you book the hotel online, they will e-mail you directions and you get a discounted rate as a hotel resident (the car park is not owned by the hotel.
I wouldn't bother with any other hotel in Bournemouth now - this one is perfect!

Room Tip: all rooms are fine but ask for a sea view!

Hello Folks,

Please find my fair and independent review of the Premier Inn Central, Bournemouth. If you find the review of some help, please take the time to press the helpful button at the end. Thanks.

Booked into stay on the 26/27th March 2012. Neither of us have stayed in a Premier Inn before and were both looking forward to trying out the experience.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, very central to everything. Some adjoining shops are vacant and some, their appearances not fantastic, but don’t let that put you off.

We did use the Car park to the rear, which worked just fine. A little cramped in places, even if either car beside you was parked correctly. The overnight fee was £12.00p or £12.50p, I cannot remember, but if you went to the hotel reception, the lady there would give you a voucher to bring the fee down to £8.40p.

Do take lots of change though, as the ticket machine does not except notes.

All staff were extremely polite, helpful and happy. A credit to the Premier Inn brand. After a little chat with one of the girls, she managed to get us into room 404. A beautiful large room with great sea view and balcony.

We arrived at 12, when checking in does not start until 2pm, but that was not a problem with the ladies on reception and before we knew it, we were off loading our luggage in this fantastic room.

We paid £131.96p for 2 nights with unlimited breakfast on both mornings. The additional parking was £16.80p. So overall, the fee per night with parking and breakfast was £74.38p ! A steel of a price. Superb value for money ! This sort of hotel experience can not be bettered in my opinion.

The breakfast was also very good. Hot food, hot plates, clean ,modern restaurant. Well run and food continuously replenished. The bacon was so tasty and the sausages very nice too. Not the sort that you wouldn’t feed to your dog !

Well done to all that work there and to Premier in particular. I hope you give all the big boys food for thought and something very serious to worry about ;)

Many Thanks

Gary

Improve vacation :)

Room Tip: Ask for a balcony / seaview !

Premier are usually nice to stay at and this was no exception. Inside very modern and smart. Good staff and good nights sleep. Large comfy bed and modern bathroom. Only draw back was an overnight charge for the car park.
