“Great hotel for location and price!”
Reviewed 13 May 2012

Location is key here, just a two minute walk to beach and pier, as well as close proximity to shopping and entertainment in town centre, as well as 'the triangle'. The hotel is clean and modern, and friendly helpful staff.

If you book early online you can find an excellent deal making staying here a total bargain. Premier Inn is a no frills hotel chain offering real value for money when booked early.

Tip: avoid the meal deal, dinner and breakfast. This is a no frills hotel and the food is bland, rather fast food served on china - head out to local restaurants for something with substance.

Stayed here with my daughter on a visit to Uni. This felt like a 4 star hotel. Right by the sea, huge room with balcony and modern bathroom. Booked early and got a bargain price. Ate in the restaurant at night as restaurant nearby was booked for the evening and was presently surprised. The staff are great, from reception to bar staff to waitresses. Would highly recommend. Best Premier Inn I have stayed at. Only problem was thin walls so noise travelled.

Had one night stay here for a special offer price of £39.00, was really pleased.
Great room with balcony overlooking the sea, very friendly staff and a great night sleep.
Had breakfast which was good value for money and of course eat as much as you like!

No complaints at all, room very clean and spacious, would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Right in the heart of the town / shops and a 1 min walk to sea front.

Room Tip: Ask for a balcony room

My daughter and her husband booked us in here for an overnight stay, she and her husband and our two young Grandchildren had room 801 (magnificent with views to kill for and a huge room for the children). Our room was somewhat smaller but all the same beautifully appointed and very clean, warm and comfortable. The dinner in the evening was very good value as we opted for the meal deal with breakfast, staff were very pleasant and (very good with the children). Unbelievable value for money, fantastic location, so close to everything you need, and they give you a discount on the secure parking to the rear of the hotel. We got 24 hour + parking for £10.36.
Well done Premier Inn, you should be proud of yourselves for the service you offer, and the high quality training of you very efficient staff. We will return!.

Room Tip: If you are a family with children you WON'T believe the size of the family room!

We normally stay elsewhere in bournemouth for one reason or another so this was a chance booking. It was the may bank holiday so room prices were more expensive than normal.

The hotel itself is beautiful and has recently been upgraded. It used to be owned by Hilton. They have attempted to retain some original art deco features which were beautiful. Location is brilliant. Next door is the cinema. One minute to shops and restaurants and a few minutes to the gardens and beach.

We arrived at night and our room looked amazing as the balcony was illuminated with purple light. The beds for the children were full size single beds and were very comfortable. The bathroom has really stylish and had contemporary decor with a great shower.

Breakfast for a family of 4 for "all you can eat" breakfast buffet was £16.50. I honestly don't know how they make much of a profit. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was hot, well cooked and restocked quickly. Oh and really yummy!

I loved this hotel. Initially when I booked I was a bit miffed at the cost however I feel it was worth it and will definitely be back.

We stayed here for 4 nights between Christmas and New Year. I must say, the hotel is in a brilliant location for doing some sale shopping (loads of great shops withing walking distance) and for going to the panto at the Pavillion. The Christmas market is also worth a visit and the whole atmosphere is just fab.

We were lucky to get a sea view room at the front of the hotel, which I believe are the more spacious rooms. Round the back, the rooms are a bit smaller and we have stayed here before and felt a bit squashed (family of 4).

Breakfast is a great selection of food if you go for the full English. It kept us going until the evening!

We will be back again this Christmas.

Got back yesterday from staying at the premier in central, bournemouth. all i can say is its situated in a fantastic location opposite the pavillion, gardens and beachfront. also ideally located for the b.i.c which was where i needed to go. staff were friendly and had lots of knowledge about the hotel & town. Very impressed with the quality of decor and cleanliness of the hotel and rooms. Only thing was the silly soft thin pillows, but thats personal taste.
Will definately be going back though. a quality hotel with a 4* feel....for travelodge money!
