“Good for a good walk”
Reviewed 20 June 2014

You can go around and see lots of things around. There is a new visitor centre, but the best attraction is the "hairy" cow which looks like a mixture of a bear and a sheep!
There is a Land Train saved by locals which takes you to the Mudeford Ferry -> see Mudeford too!
If you park on the side of the road, it is free for an hour. It is enough for a quick lap or for a slow coffeé or ice-cream.
You can fly kite in smooth wind and play golf too.

“Top Class”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

Regular at the Head for dog walking, loads of open space plenty of walks and choices for refreshments if required. The New Visitors Centre is fantastic, really well done, loads of information and activities. Will never get bored of paying a visit as nature constantly changing, brilliant. A must for all ages and it's free, and lots of walking too for its health benefits OMG listen to me sounding like a grown up!!

“Mind boggling scenery.”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

Large car park 2 hours should be enough.Get the land train,15 min.ride for £1.50 each way adults, .50p for kids 4-12,dogs .10p. Takes you through woods and alongside estuary. On return walk up to the Head takes about 30 mins. less coming down.At the top the views are mind boggling no matter which direction you are looking. Upon your return before you leave enjoy a well deserved drink and home made goodies. The toilet facilities are good and clean.

“Great place to spend your afternoon”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

HH is a great place to visit if out and about around Christchurch, with a tea room/restaurant, a train ride down the sea if you like and a lovely beach to enjoy the sunshine, what more could you want, there is also a tea rooms and place to eat down on the beach at the end of lovely wooded walk.
