My second visit to Brasserie Blanc, this time with family, which includes a chef living & working in S.W. France so I was a little apprehensive ... but we had a lovely evening! Very efficient and rather witty waiting staff, a great atmosphere with plenty of diners enjoying themselves on a Tuesday evening, and rather lovely food. Lovely sea view too of course. My cheese souffle starter wasn't quite as scrumptious as The Jetty manages, but still very nice, fabulous sauce. The asparagus & poached egg combo from the specials board was a delight! 'The chef' very much enjoyed his suckling pig main, the Malabar Fish Curry was a distinct success and my Salmon & Crab fishcake with wilted leaks one of the tastiest ever! And very filling, I really should have resisted the side order of chips. Washed down with a delicious bottle of Pinot Noir = very happy customers. I may well become a regular if they keep this up :)
