We are happy that you enjoyed your stay & made the most of your time here, including the breakfasts! We like the fact it felt calm & homely, as we strive to keep the atmosphere that way, even though it doesn't always feel so calm behind the scenes!!! Thank you for such a kind review.

Delicious breakfast with a good range of choice especially for vegetarians.
Location: Good place to stay if you are visiting Poole or Bournemouth - only a short drive from Poole where the hotels are more expensive. Handy for Compton Acres.
Friendly and welcoming. Nice shower. Homemade little brownie cakes in a jar makes a nice change from a little packet of biscuits.

Returned on Sunday from a three night break to Bournemouth and were lucky to find the Living Room, cannot speak highly enough about the staff and the comfort and cleanliness of the room and all the little extra touches such of the chocolate brownies and bottle of water in our room each day. Will certainly return and recommend to friends and family.

Thank you for taking the time to speak so highly of us to the Trip Advisor community. It's great you enjoyed the extras like the brownies, it is very tempting working near them every day so we are extra pleased when the guests eat them all! Hopefully we will see you again soon and you can see the new touches to the rooms.

Having lived across the road from The Living Room for the past 2 years, I finally got round to trying it out. Well I'm gutted I didn't try sooner! I had an impromptu Saturday lunch with a friend which we enjoyed so much we stayed and chatted some more over a glass of wine.
The menu selection was excellent, particularly for me as I have several food allergies and intolerances. I ordered Ham Hock Hash wish was delicious. I can see how living in such close proximity is going to make me a Ham Hock Hash addict! The chilli jam that accompanied it was the best I've tried!
The service was great, funky interior decor and well priced. All in all, a gem in wonderful Westbourne!

We are glad you made it across the road at last - it is surprising how many customers live so close and say exactly the same as you. We do take aways for some neighbours and have even had one turn up in his dressing gown if you don't feel like getting dressed!! Look forward to seeing you again, hopefully before 2 years... Thank you!
