Stayed here for one night on two occasions both being a Friday night, room 322 is a big family room with great sea views, clean with all you need. the staff we met were all fantastic especially Beckie. Breakfast was excellent and very reasonably priced with the children eat free offer. Looking forward to returning again in the near future.

Good value in a greatly improved Travelodge, although in busy periods parking is a real problem, the car park is small and it is £5-00 to park for 24 hours that is if you can get a space, street parking is OK free if again you can find a space, so my recommendation is a great place to stay out of school holidays and high season, the location is wonderful and just a few minutes to the beach, and there are pubs and places to eat nearby, the cafe bar is not great with regard to menu its reasonable in cost but that is reflected in food quality, it has limited draft beer and has plastic seats in the main which is not good for comfort if spending an evening drinking with friends, the breakfast is not that good and again the cost is reflected in the quality, the scrambled eggs were like rubber and in edible, room servicing is iffy my room was serviced really well, but my sons room had no servicing at all, I would recommend this lodge taking into account the points made, its a matter of judgment, but to me this location represents value for money its not perfect but you wont get that even in 5 star hotels

Had a very nice stay, hotel is modern, ideally located near to the sea and the cliff train to the beach, and another plus is that it is in the same road as the superb Cliff Top Restaurant, for breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Also the staff at the hotel could not of been more helpful to us.

Had a room on the 4th floor. New carpet so had a nice smell in the room. Not noisy inside or outside even though it was fully booked. Awesome new beds guys!!!
Think you are better than your main rival.

Was unsure whether to book this hotel or pay more at another, but the location made me choose this one and I am so glad I did! It was so close to the beach and shops we couldn't believe it! The room we had was the family room 420 and with 2 adults and 2 kids including a big pram we had plenty of room! Plus the sea view definitely won us over! Parking is limited but on the 3 days we were there we never struggled to park in the hotel car park. The staff at the hotel we're so friendly and helpful. Admittedly the cups and spoons in the room weren't the cleanest and the bottom of the bath has seen some better days but for the price we paid we didn't expect as much as we got! The beds were comfy, clean sheets, clean room, enough towels for us all, plenty of pillows and loads of tea bags and coffee sachets. Didn't eat at the cafe but compared to a couple of the local cafés would definitely say it's good value and always smelt nice when walking past! Would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family and would definitely stay again!

Room Tip: We were on floor 4 room 420 (family room) no road noise as the hotel is away from the main road and...
