Right opposite BIC and close to beach, we enjoyed our stay when coming for a concert. Room was clean and a good size although shower a little on the small size, staff very pleasant, we ate in the Crab which we enjoyed, breakfast was good. Parking over the road in the BIC was not a problem. Would go back.

When the Crab opened it was wonderful. We gave it 10/10. Last night, on our 25th anniversary, it was very disappointing. The starters were good and full marks for supplying gluten-free bread. A undrinkable glass of Chianti was quickly replaced. My main course was inedible - steak as tough as old boots and nasty-tasting chips. I left 90% of it but no-one noticed. They tried to charge us for it - £25 - but were persuaded to remove it from the bill. The waitress was charming but there didn't seem to be any head waiter in charge. We won't be going back.

Stayed here for a night, for a friends wedding. Hotel only has limited parking on site, so parking available in the BIC, which is just over the road. Our room was clean and a good size - all in all value for money l'd say.

The breakfast next morning was good - l had the full English, and my wife had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Only couple of issues at breakfast - no butter for the toast and delays in getting coffee - but otherwise all OK.

Staff all friendly, good location and good value.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a room only basis, so unable to comment on food. Arrived early and room was made available immediately.
Reception staff were friendly and always available - twin room was clean and spacious although lacking a chair for some strange reason. My friend who likes a bath commented that the bath was a bit short but the shower was more than adequate.
Not much of a view from our ground floor room but this wasn't an issue for us. The only dowside was the bedroom door which neede to be locked by key and rattled slightly all through the night....
It was close to the beach and ideal for the BIC, only a short walk to bars and shops. £5 in taxi from train station. Perfectly adequate for our needs

Had a 3 day conference in Bournemouth early June and was lucky to get a room at the Park Central. Check in was fast and the receptionist very pleasant. The room I was given on the ground floor was very spacious and clean with a large window overlooking a garden. The Bournemouth International Conference Centre was right opposite the hotel which was extremely convenient and the beach was less than 5minutes walk. I would definitely stay here again if I am in this area again.

Room Tip: Ask for the signature rooms.
