We stayed at the hotel for our anniversary weekend.
We could not fault the hotel, the room was excellent, staff were welcoming and the food in the restaurant was fantastic.
We shall definitely be returning.

We loved the simplistic modern décor in both public and private areas. However our quite small ( large double “Copper Beech”) lacked comfort (one chair), adequate lighting ( downlight in bathroom for makeup etc.), storage (tiny wardrobe) and no bathroom space for toiletries. We also experienced 2 serious plumbing issues in 3 days.
Service levels were very mixed. Nobody on front desk on arrival or to help us oldies up the mega front steps, but once staff arrived we had a great welcome.
Our first evening was somewhat of a disaster with inexperienced staff, a wine list from the room which was apparently redundant, questions about the food and serving and a low sense of professionalism.
We advised the restaurant manager of our concerns and the General Manager appeared and courteously agreed with most of the issues.
Next day, what a transformation. Very professional bar and restaurant management, complimentary wine and excellent meal!
The staff were universally pleasant and helpful but varied significantly in experience, knowledge and ability with Caz being outstanding at multitasking!
We understand that the hotel opened in 2010 and maybe now would be a good time to review the practical features of the bedrooms, a need for more menu options and a much improved wine list.

Room Tip: All rooms are different, try to select one of the larger??

We were in Bournemouth and phoned on the off chance as it said on TripAdvisor it was fully booked. They managed to find a room for a whole family of 4 to stay as they had a cancellation.
Very impressed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean and newly refurbished. Good breakfast.Would definitely stay again. The location was very good. Keep up the good work.

OK, we had a master room and it was a very nice, clean room. But they really need to get the basics right as well as all the 'bling' to get a 5* rating from me. We were not shown around the room, only offered some milk which the lady brought back in a flask and left. We could not see any tea/coffee making facilities and wondered if we should actually have ordered some, rather than milk, we were a little confused. Eventually, we found the tea tray in the bottom of the waredrobe in the toilet!! The 2 homemade cookies in the jar were nice, but it was such a big jar, they looked like they had been left over from previous guests. The tiny bottles the tea bags/sugar lumps were in were not very hygenic, having to poke fingers in to get stuff out. The hotel was very noisy, creaking and people talking; we were woken up every morning of our 3 night stay. It was only reading trip advisor we discovered there was a cabinet in the hallway storing milk in a fridge and more cookies, nobody told us. Rather disapointingly we didn't find this until the last day and when looking in the fridge on our floor, the milk was 1 day out of date so we went upstairs only to find the milk there, 3 days out of date! Parking was an issue in the evening and when you've been out all day you don't need the stress of not being able to park anywhere. Was not a fan of their 'feedback survey' either offering tick boxes for 'mind blowing'...very presumptious, OK some of it was very nice or very good, but 'mind blowing' seems rather audacious to me. Was also very disapointed to be asked for a £50 deposit as soon as we arrived, it makes you feel like a criminal - I have stayed in hotels as nice/nicer than this and have never been asked for this before. I don't think we will go back

Room Tip: We had 'Crab Apple' at the end of the corridor

We spent a weekend at the Green House to celebrate a belated wedding anniversary and our joint birthday. Having struggled to find good accommodation in Bournemouth in he past, we felt the Green House was spot on! A very comfortable hotel, beautifully decorated and delivers on Organic in so many ways. The restaurant is outstanding and the staff are great. Bed very comfortable and a lovely room with a roll-top bath in it. Will be back every time we travel south without children in tow. Thank you!
