Stayed at this hotel as a coach driver so the room and meals were included . I was pleased to see it was a hotel not Motel. The hotel overlooked the sea so people at the front had excellent views.
The hotel is on three levels and have 2 lifts, it is also within walking distance of Bourenmouth centre about 5 mins.
I can not comment on the rooms except the one I was in which was a single, this room was on the third floor and was very small but was adequate for my needs it had wardrobe, drawers a television
and coffee tea facilites.
The interior of the hotel was well laid out with rooms for activites like dancing.
The nice thing also was free wifi in all areas of the hotel.
We were on a bed breakfast evening meal with a set menu for the evening meal. Breakfast was excellent so were the evening meals.
The staff at the hotel were really good and nothing was a problem , the dining staff were German language students and I must say they worked with german efficiency but with a sense of humour.
I would look at this hotel for a private break if visiting Bournemouth again.

Room Tip: Dont have one above the rooms holding dances.

What a fantastic hotel! I came for a four day course recently and have come back to work so revived nobody believes I have been working! The hotel was beautiful, the staff were just lovely (they couldn't do enough for us), the food was lovely, the room was so spacious and the bed was heaven (the backache I have had for months disappeared after one night). The care taken to look after us and provide for us was amazing - ranging from packing us a packed lunch so we could go out at lunchtime to repeatedly refilling our iced water in our course room when we popped out. So attentive. My husband and I will be back very soon for a break and I have recommended the hotel to a number of my friends and family already. Thank you so much.

Room Tip: Ask for the walk in showers - loved it - and try and get a sea-view room.

Had a marvellous stay here for a 4 day training course - clean, quiet room with huge shower, pleasant public areas and grounds and attentive but not intrusive service at meals. Location is great for exploring Bournemouth but perched on a cliff road so has nice sea views, close to the beach, pier and Bournemouth International Centre. But the staff are the hotel's greatest asset - absolutely charming and welcoming, imaginative in anticipating your needs and dealt with any queries immediately and completely. Lovely stay for a work trip - will be back in my own time!

Stayed here at a conference. Nothing was too much trouble and customer service impeccable. Thank you all. Fabulous shower and my room was spotless as well as having an alarm clock. Iced water all the time in the meeting room. Well done to all. Appreciated it and would be happy to stay again.

The Days Hotel is nicely situated just up the East Cliff road that leads up from the Pier, the Pavilion Theatre and the shops. It is one of the traditional style hotels so it has biggish public rooms and bedrooms that lead off down various corridors.
The parking spaces at the front of the hotel are good for offloading luggage while you check-in and longer term parking is round the back of the hotel. Easy enough to find when you know where to go (just keep turning left) but not obvious when first looked for.
The rooms we have had on two recent visits have had comfortable beds, good size bathrooms with good quality fixtures. Our rooms have been hot and noisy; the most recent, Room 126 overlooked the rear entrance courtyard and the noise from fans and air-conditioning equipment kept us awake for the first night.
Food is of good British hotel standard. Breakfast is a buffet with a selection of cooked items. Sometimes, all of them are available in the warming dishes at the same time!
The staff is universally friendly but not always able to deliver what is needed. Food was left to go cold because no one could be bothered to serve it, several requests for conditioner went unfulfilled, the lack of dialling tone on the room telephone was never sorted, problems getting bar food menus, etc. Nothing shattering in itself but several petty things can add up to something more tedious.
Overall, a useful location for short breaks, conferences and activities and reasonable value for money. However, expect basics rather than unusual customer service. Some good management inside and some white paint for the outside would make the place a whole lot more attractive.

Dear LenOdcam,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review about the Days Hotel.
I am sorry that you found your stay not completely satisfying and about the hot and noisy room that you experienced. We have had a new telephone system put in within the last two weeks, which the engineers are just finalising the installation.
We do not provide conditioner in the bedrooms, just shampoo and shower gel.
Apologises if you felt the management was not up to standards with all the issues; however I would have been happy to see you in person and discuss the issues you have raised. Please feel free to contact me direct should you wish to discuss this further.
We try our best to improve on guests experiences and rely on feedback such as yours to do this.
I do hope that we will have the opportunity of welcoming you back in the future.
Kind regards

We have been coming to this hotel for 24 years and have stayed in each type of room including one of the suites. We have been pleased with each visit. Now that we are older and without the same level of income we have to wait for the Winter deals, but we are still treated the same. The quality of food, especially Dinner is excellent. We find the package is very good value for money.

Dear Mrs C,
Thank you so much for writing a review for the Days Hotel Bournemouth.
You have been here nearly as long as I have!
My family took over the hotel almost 27 years ago, when I was just a child and we try our best to create a home from home atmosphere. It sounds very much like we are a second home for you!
We look forward to welcoming you again next year on your Silver Anniversary visit to the hotel.
Kind regards
