We stayed in room 14which was very comfortable and well decorated. The dinner was excellent quality but the portions were a bit small. Staff were all very friendly helpful and attentive. The only criticisms would be that the hotel is very noisy (due to the age and construction of the building) and the dining room was freezing - although they bought us an electric fire when I mentioned it.

We booked a weekend here as a treat, and that is exactly what it was, from the welcoming reception staff to the lovely waitresses and bar staff. We also had the amazing Kim Dibley provide an massage and pedicure in our room.
The room was beautifully decorated and clean and comfortable, the bath robes were to die for, the softest bathrobes ever.
Food was beautifully served and presented and if you visit here you have to try the porridge, OMG it is just moreish
I would recommend this venue to anyone and would happily pay for this experience for any of my family to enjoy as well

Room Tip: All rooms are great but being able to check out the Kings Room when it isnt booked, is definitely one to check out

This is the second time we've stayed at the Langtry Manor, returning to enjoy its friendly and historical ambiance. We were not disappointed. The friendly staff, excellent cuisine along with the promenade walks served only to invite a 3rd visit.

The very best feature of this hotel is the friendly staff and they are so nice that I feel guilty about saying anything negative. The "valentine lovers menu" on the first night was delicious, but the Edwardian banquet was disappointing by contrast. Juding by other reviews, maybe the kitchen had an off-day. Breakfasts were good. Our room was in the Langtry Lodge across the road - not a problem in itself but the room was dark and rather cold. Picky points - a broken towel rail and ineffective shower screen plus a shower giving out a not very generous stream of water suggest the maintenance crew might have had an off-day too. Still - overall, an enjoyable visit and we will certainly consider going back.

What a wonderful place to stay, we had a long weekend at the manor and it felt very special indeed. It is lovely to be able to take our dog with us when staying in a luxury hotel, we only wished we could have taken him with us when sitting in the bar area. We were able to enjoy the Edwardian banquet and were very lucky to share it with a great group of people. We would love to stay again, Bournemouth is a great destination and the hotel superb
