“Another excellent visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 March 2013

We've been to this hotel on many occasions now and have never found there to be any problems what so ever.

The staff are exceptionally helpful and all very friendly. We sort of have our own room now (LOL).

We have visited there throughout the year, so quite a broad spectrum.

"Best Western" have a "Reward card system" well worth joining, as you accumulate points for each visit, and then can "spend" them on return visits, free nights etc.

The restaurant and food are second to none and the bar gets my attention all the time, a good selection of drinks.

There is ample FREE parking for all. This hotel does have a lift, so getting to each floor is not a problem, albeit the lift is a little small.

All in all I would strongly recommend this hotel for any length of stay.

Room Tip: Front rooms have balconies

We were given a lovely dual aspect room on arrival. The room was a generous size and beautifully decorated with a lovely en suite.
Breakfast was generous and enjoyable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The only down side was that on the Saturday evening after working all day, we wanted to have dinner in the restaurant and were only told when we got down there that it was closed because there was a function on and told we could only eat in the bar. It would have been useful if they had told us this when we booked so that we could have made other plans.
When we did eat at the restaurant the next evening, the food was lovely with excellent service.

Room Tip: Choose a higher floor room as the sound seems to carry!

Stayed just one night because we had an interview at the uni the following morning, which just so happened to be only a 3 minute walk away, perfect. The hotel was clean, the bed very comfy and warm. Nice hot shower and the food was lovely too. No complaints except it was cold in the dining room, everywhere else was nice and warm. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were always smiling.

Picked this off google search, excellent Trip Advisor reports and availability of family rooms. Travelling with son to investigate Bournemouth as a place to study and AECC as a college. Easy to find, TomTom seems to like it. Family rooms are in CarPark but are in good condition and are warm and clean. Swimming pool went down well, little high on the Chlorine but otherwise great pre breakfast activity. Talking of which several courses were taken by us all and all were well above average.Would recommend for business, family or just for pleasure. Good experience.

Room Tip: Excellent with good availability of family rooms

Thank you so much for taking the trouble to write such a complimentary review about the hotel. I cannot underestimate the benefit and encouragement it gives the staff and naturally helps other travelers in their selection process. Please come and stay with us when you revisit Bournemouth and you may be sure of a warm welcome and an equally enjoyable stay. I hope that son liked Bournemouth as an educational base!

Me, my wife and 9 week old stayed here after visiting friends to extend our stay on the south coast. We arrived to early to check in, but all was well as we were allocated parking and strolled into the town center, which had taken us roughly 10mins. Eventually we checked in and were given a family room with the option of cotbed. The room was large with a double bed, single bed, enough room for our own travel cot and adequite space to swing a cat. Tea and coffee facilities too. The bathroom was large also, but was dated. However all that was dated was made up for because I couldnt find a spec of dust. Very clean room. We headed down to the pool, which was warm enough for little one to hop in, the only issue as nice as the pool is, that its a little mouldy and damp. Breakfast next morning was well presented, warm and tasty. Staff were also helpful and offered essentials for little one. On check out, we settled any charges for parking and left with a smile.

Went for short break, room good food excellent staff friendly and helpful, will return.only negative thing we thought pool area was looking a little tired and dated and could do with modernising and decent locks on changing cubicles.

Lovely room, excellent price, friendly staff. My daughter and i stayed here for one night in december. Check in was easy as i had booked on line. The room was lovely, far better than the higher rated kensington hotel which we stayed in the following night. We had dinner in the bar, great food. Would definately go again.
