Friendly check in staff, easily found our good sized room. Ok so that was the good stuff :)

Bad bits .... lack of parking, car park was full and we had to park on the side of the road. The room was extremely basic, no wifi, the tv was the old style tv with the big back which in this day and age is a bit ridiculous. The shower is one of those ones that works off the tap so it was a luke warm dribble. The carpet was stained, i thought maybe a murder had taken place. I was generally unimpressef and have stayed at better premier inns.

This hotel is crying out for a refurb and a bit of tlc, the door was also broken. I would never stay here again, such a shame.

This stay was for one night for my partner and I. All in all a very average hotel in need of some major renovations to bring it up to date from the 1970s. The room was ok albeit dated...the TV wasnt functioning and when we queried with the concierge what was wrong we got told that it hadnt been working for most of the week. Bed was ok, bathroom needed updating, shower was lame. Breakfast was ok, shame that the parking for hotel was taken by non staying guests attending a wedding, but to charge you to use the hotel car park is a bit much. Wouldnt stay there again in a hurry unless it meant this or sleeping on the street...

We were staying here as a compensation package for our poor stay at another Britannia Hotel, this Hotel was so much better in every aspect ,better food ,rooms and all the staff actually seemed to enjoy working here, smiling and cheerful service,
All in all a very pleasant stay.

Room Tip: Executive rooms.

Stayed one night in the Heathlands hotel. Service was great, had a lovely night porter who checked us in at 1am. Now although I only stayed the night I can't comment on anything but the room. But in regards to the room I was a bit disappointed. The room was in need of a major update, and a more rigorous clean with obvious areas not having been wiped down. For a one night stop over the room was satisfactory. However, if I was staying for more than a night I would felt let down by the room in this hotel
