Lovely house on Sandbanks with beautiful furniture and fittings. Some child friendly additions would be welcome such as table corner protectors if you have toddlers. Also lovely wooden and tile floors in ground floor but again if you take little ones slippers or grippy socks a must. We had a few slips amongst our little people. Bins only emptied fortnightly so be prepared to have a pile of bin bags if you fill the house and eat in a lot. Very helpful staff who tried to deal with minor issues of TVs not working and towel rails not working but I am sure that will be sorted by now so enjoy a break amongst the millionaires.
We were visiting from warmer climes overseas and whilst January may not be the best time to visit Sandbanks, staying at "ALLURE" for 8 days was a very pleasant experience. The house is spacious, warm and comfortable. We needed a venue for a 70th birthday party and room to accommodate our extended family for a few days, and it was perfect. All the bedrooms are spacious and there are plenty of bathrooms for guests to use. We didn't get to use the outside areas but with the folding doors on the ground floor, leading to the outside decking, I can imagine that summer use would be ideal.
The only downsides were technical. The WiFi router had broken and the temporary replacement dongle, quickly supplied by Bournemouth Beaches, only worked intermittently and only in the second floor front bedrooms. Also, there was no mobile phone reception in the house at all and standing under a tree in the front garden in the rain to make a call, was not much fun. Hopefully it was a temporary situation resulting from the awful weather.
I would certainly recommend "ALLURE" for a large family or group of friends to share.
