I do love animals and when it comes to aquariums - it's even better. A nice feature, great fun for both kids and adults.

We had pre booked our tickets online which offered a decent saving, there are lots of car parks local to the Oceanarium and it's very easy to find. The place is a bit tight in places but the main feature of a massive indoor water pool with a viewing platform above and a walk through tunnel underneath was excellent, this area housed 2 turtles which were impressive and loads of large sharks. There are loads of features and aquatic life to have a look at and the gift shop was reasonable priced. We were a bit disappointed as the kids wanted to see the crocodile but we were informed that they hadn't arrived as yet, all in all though very good value for money.

Visited the Oceanarium on a blustery overcast day, expecting it to be mostly a childrens experience, but discovered a much more rounded attraction than at first thought. Ok, you have to enjoy looking at fish, but the areas in which the specimens are kept, and the glass walk through, make for a most enjoyable and enriching experience. The otter compound was really interesting, as I have never seen these elusive creatures up close before, but for me the star attraction was the Iguana, with whom I struck up an instant rapour!
This is an attraction I would recommend for both children and adults, and I would return again.

Lovely place. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Had time to speak to young children. Was good that once we had paid we could come and go as we pleased on that day with only one entrance fee. I would advise to do this as sometimes you see things you didn't see on the first time round.

We took our 3 and five year old's here whilst we were on holiday in New Milton during the Easter holidays, we booked online to get a cheaper deal. There was a wide range of aqua life to see and lizards especially Ziggy (who the kids loved). There are a couple of activities which the children could join in with and they loved watching the two turtles being fed but the star attraction for our 6 year old was the interactive fish tank especially when the big whale appeared to consume the cage. We returned later in the day as the ticket is valid all day and they enjoyed going around the second time. All in all a good experience.
