We have stayed at this Hotel before and again this visit did not dissappoint. We went this time on a Gold Voucher deal. Unbelievable value for a genuine 4 star Hotel. We had a superior room at the back which was quiet and peacful. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. Our stay during December was a time of many Christmas parties being held there but apart from the time it took to get drinks at the bar the service was very promt. The Hotel is close to the town centre, great for shopping (if you like that), but great for just resting. The lounge is very homely with a fire and very serene. The Spa is normally quiet with free pool, steam room and Spa, lovely on a cold Saturday afternoon for relaxing. Food is excellent, great choice, fast service and served with a smile. I love this place.

Room Tip: Room at the back for peace. The front can get noisy at weekends with late night riff-raff.

Got a fantastic deal through Wowcher, £99 for two people DBB. We were really pleased with the hotel, I read the reviews before we went and asked for a room over looking the garden and it was lovely and quiet. Room was beauftiful with HUGE bed. We loved the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the hotel, arrived early and were able to check into our room at 11am. It is in a great location and personally we didn't mind paying the car park charge as we knew the car was safe. The food in the evening was excellent but the breakfast in the morning was a little mass produced and it was very busy. Considering the price of the stay, its location and the quality of the room we were really impressed. Will certainly go again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room over looking the garden and don't wear a jumper down to dinner or breakfast as it...

Stayed for a weekend, had dinner in the hotel on the first evening, food was good but the service was poor, very rushed with 3 waitors all asking you the same thing, turned into a comedy sketch! 3 courses in and out in under an hour. Also the restaurant was too hot both at breakfast and at dinner.
Room was good was a lovely big bed, no issue with noise as others commented on.
Leisure facilites poor, disliked steam room and sauna not being next to the pool but upstairs on another level. It felt like the facilities had been squeezed in. The sauna was too hot, you could not sit in it. Jacuzzi was nice and warm. The changing rooms were in a mess with dirty towels and robes all over the floor, obviously not been cleared all day.
I feel that the parking at £12 per 24 hours is expensive for hotel guests but it is secure.
Location is fantastic being right in the centre and close to all Bournemouth has to offer.

Just come back from this hotel after spending a weekend there. We had been three years before and enjoyed it,and iam pleased to say everything is still of a very high standard. We had a standard room no 6,on the ground floor, which in the summer would be great because you have your own private patio with table and chairs. The room itself was huge with very high standards of fittings and furniture, and tea making facilities. The bathroom looked as if it has just been fitted with all the mod cons. The swimming pool although small is very clean, with a nice size jet pool. The meals are out of this world, nice portions and brought up to your table looking like works of art,its almost a shame to eat them !The lounge area is very smart and a joy to spend time in over a drink or two.The position of this hotel right in the town centre, and near to the seafront make it a must everytime we go to bournemouth.Cant wait to visit again.

Room Tip: room 6 on ground floor in the summer months

We stayed at the Royal Norfolk with a large party for the weekend and we were not disappointed. The staff were helpfull and the hotel was clean and is a mixture of traditional and modern taste.
We arrived late in the morning for breakfast which wasn't a good idea as most of the food has gone and on the Sunday morning was directed to another room as the restaurant was full, which meant that there wasn't as much choice of food and one waiter who was rushed of his feet.
I would also recommend having a room at the back of the hotel if you are a light sleeper and upgrade to a club room as the standard is basic, whilst the club rooms are modern with lovely bathroom fittings. We had a lovley room and couldn't fault it.
The hotel is close to shops, beach and very easy to find with the car park behind the hotel which is secure and great to leave all weekend.
The food is good with a nice selection to chose from although they don't serve many vegetables it is tasy and hot.
All in all it was a lovely weekend and I would cetainly stay here again.

Room Tip: Choose the club rooms

The Hotel is absolutely fantastic! The rooms are huge, very clean and modern. The food is great, the breakfast is a buffet style with good quality ingredients. The location is perfect for the beach or the shops about 4 mins walk to either. It is also very good value, as they do some really cheap deals.

Room Tip: The 2nd Floor is very good.
