What a fantastic weekend we have had staying at Mountbatten Court. Stayed in a beautiful, spacious room, extremely clean (and this includes the bathroom which was spotless) nice fluffy towels & bath robes, very comfortable bed, everything you could think of was in the room even a cupcake on the tea & coffee tray. Pat & Andy were great hosts, very friendly and certainly made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to perfection and presented well and what a choice, I also have to mention about the toast that Andy prepares, it was toasted to perfection, and there was plenty of it. Will certainly be returning and telling friends & family of this wonderful B&B that we have found. Thank you both for a great stay and keep up the good work.

Room Tip: Room No 2, very spacious & a big bay window.

Have just returned from a wonderful stay - we had a lovely room which was extremely clean. The guest house was a short walk from the beach and around 30 mins walk to Bournemouth pier, but what a beautiful walk, particularly as the sun was out.

Breakfast was superb and was made to order, but best of all was the lovely couple Pat & Andy - they were so extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Andy's sense of humour had us laughing out loud, even if it was a Pat's expenses hehe - all in good humour though ;-)

Would not hesitate to recommend nor to stay again - so may see you soon Pat & Andy x

We stayed here for three nights and we enjoyed every minute of it. A very nice and friendly couple! if feels like home away from home. We, together with two of our three kids, shared one room and discovered that, when we go back to England for a short or a longer stay, would opt for this really good b&b! Very nice neighborhood, nearby beach, A lot of friendly people and two hours by train from London.

Room Tip: Anyone 'fits' into this B&B.

Me and my classmate heard in December that we were placed in Bournemouth for our internship for the Hotel and Management course. We started looking for apartments in Bournemouth to move in to. After a long search he said, well maybe we can stay in the B&B where i stayed 2 years ago when i was on vacation here with my parents, it's a great please and the owners are really nice.

I am very glad that he came up with that idea and that we decided to do that. Not one apartment in our price range would've been this great for us.

I am very glad that we are staying here and that they are taking such good care of. Nothing is to much to ask. Everyday it feels like you're coming home.

My parents from France and I, from Canada, came to visit my sister in Poole for a few days. I found Mountbatten Court online and since it seemed incredibly affordable and their website showed lovely pictures of the rooms, I called up to book our rooms.
Everything about our stay there was outstanding and it would take more than this review to describe it accurately. From the first contact on the phone, Pat was so kind and accommodating, and reservations were made without fuss. Upon arrival, we were greeted with friendly smiles and already felt welcome. Although I told him it wasn't necessary, Andy insisted on taking all of our luggage upstairs to our rooms. And speaking of the rooms, the photos on the website don't do them justice. So comfortable, spacious, tastefully decorated AND impeccably clean, with also a spotless en-suite bathroom. The 37" HDTV and free Wi-Fi was a nice bonus too. And we found the location so quiet and peaceful in a beautiful neighbourhood.
Breakfast is included and what a feast ! Traditional home-made English breakfast that will set you up for the day, Pat and Andy will not let you leave the table hungry.
Our lasting impression was Pat's kindness, and of course, Andy's legendary sense of humour !
If you are visiting Poole, Bournemouth or Dorset in general, you can go ahead and waste time and money looking for an accommodation, or you can book your stay at the Mountbatten Court.
Honestly, the experience was so great that I was sort of expecting a "catch", and even jokingly told Pat & Andy. They replied that they treat their guests the way they would with family and friends. Indeed...
