I and my family have previously stayed in the Whitehall (sister hotel) and found the staff very pleasant and helpful, it was my graduation and they cleared a lounge for family photos as it was raining outside, due to this wonderful stay we revisited for my grandmothers 80th, superb holiday, wonderful room and facilities (bathroom a tad tight as my grandfather a wheelchair user but no major issue) the owner Sarah a wonderful lady recognised us and this made the hugest of difference, she even joined us to sing happy birthday to my nan. the lovely receptionist (Sanna I think) was very helpful and recommended the august fireworks which ended the Saturday perfectly, she sorted my nans cake and ensure the waiters joined us to. Food was just...wow, simply spectacular! the room did back onto the park which yes is a busy place so noise is inevitable, but putting into perspective the location, very short walking distance from literally every attraction and the wonderful views, noise was not an issue. the night manager was lovely too and the bar was quaint, modern and personal. perfect hotel to build up relationships and to revisit but competitive for one off stays too. car park was tight but to be expected in a busy area, but staff very efficient at managing the cars. Will be booking for 2015 very soon!!
