It is a cinema... Seats are comfy but it could do with a revamp: facade, inside... The floor was extremely sticky so much so that I didn't want to put our backpack on the floor!

I went to the cinema last nigh to watch 12 years a slave.
put in a large room which had just been tidied (was ok).
went to the toilet and they could do with a refurbishment really.
sat to watch the film at the back there are two seats with no chairs obstructing the screen so my husband and i choose to sit there.
The seat had hardly any cushioning in them at all and were extremly uncomfortable.
the film was a long film (which we didnt realise) and the seats were not adaquate for the time sat in them.
I think for the price of tickets that the cinema could do with an upgrade really to make the experience even more enjoyable.
we were going to upgrade to premier seats, i am really glad we didnt as the only difference is that they have a slight head rest, they dont look any comfier!
It is also a shame that there is no parking for the cinema as a competative cinema in poole has free parking and comfier seats, i will be going to the poole cinema in future.
maybe the odean could reimburse something for the parking charges, when you purchase a cinema ticket. (just an idea)

A generally alright night out. Most Odeons are pretty much alike. This old building is past its prime, once a gem of a cinema with big screen. Now it has lost its charm a little. Still - the film was good and the seats comfortable so no real moans
