I stayed in Marlins for three nights at the end of April with my husband and baby. We paid 80 pounds a night which I found quite steep considering that it was not high season. Coming from abroad we had deliberately chosen a B and B for that "personal touch" which you cannot find in a hotel, but I was slightly disappointed by our stay, which felt more like being in a hotel. I agree with the other reviewers that the place was very clean, but the bed was hard to the point of being uncomfortable. With a cot in it the room was also fairly cramped and we overlooked the main road so there were no views to enjoy. Breakfast was fine, and there was a vegetarian option available too. In terms of situation Marlins is close to both the town and the seafront so it's easy to get around. I would rate Marlins as perfectly ok, but I did not find it as exceptional as some of my co-reviewers have.
