“Warm and Cosy”
Reviewed 31 January 2009

Arrived at the hotel on a very cold day. Room was nice and warm, very tastefully decorated and although quite small was adequate for the two of us. Breakfast was cooked to order and was the best I have had in a hotel. Neil, the owner was welcoming and helpful. The hotel was near the beach and the shops, good value for money - would definitely stay here again.

For a second year running, my company booked Marlin's hotel for us to stay during a 5 day exhibition we take part in at the BIC.

The hotel is immaculately clean and the rooms are spacious. The rooms have a fancy flat screen TV's, and there was (much to our happiness) a strong wi-fi signal all throughout the hotel. The location of the hotel is perfect. Close to the beach and to the BIC.

What makes this hotel that extra special is the excellent service they provided us with. There were quite a few of us, and nobody ever complained about anything regarding the hotel. If only we could take transport this hotel to other areas we exhibit at!

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody from business travellers to families to couples.

A fantastic play to stay - I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment I arrived I felt welcome.
They take pride in their business and it shows. It was clean and warm, the breakfast was generous and delicious, and the owners were around to make sure you had all that you need!
I have had many stays in hotels where they do the bare minimum and its an uncomfortable and disappointing stay - this was a joy in comparison. Don't waste money on anywhere else!

Me and the Wife stayed at the Marlins Hotel for 2 Nights. We felt welcome from the second we walked through the door. The wife is very fussy when it comes to hotels but this one ticked all of her boxes, It is a very clean and warm hotel with a great location( easy to walk to the town or beach) The Full English Breakfast was the best that we have had in a very long time (even beats mine) The owners are very friendly and helpful and are very knowledgable of places to go and to eat.
THIS HOTEL IS A MUST IF YOU ARE STAYING IN BOURNEMOUTH

Stayed at Marlins when in Bournemouth for our son's graduation.
Allowed to check in early, free parking and short walk to BIC. Room comfortable, very clean and a proper breakfast. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

We stayed at the Marlin for a couple of days during the half term.
We were a family of 6 from Children to Grandparentsand we all thought it was a lovely hotel. We had the famliy room which had full size beds for the Children ( so much nicer than a sofa or rollaway). The rooms were beautifully clean and the breakfast freshly cooked - again much nicer than the buffets you find in bigger hotels.
The location of the hotel was great, right in th centre of things.
The owners were very helpful, giving advice on restaurants, offering to book etc. We weren't demanding guests but I suspect everyone would be treated as nicely as we were.
I have always opted for big anonymous hotels in the past. I think the Marlins have converted me.

Just to say that the locaion is excellent for the BIC, and the price is very reasonable. Do not miss the breakfast it was worth getting up for. The owners are very friendly and will definately stay there again when visiing Bournemouth.
