My partner and I would like to recommend our visit to Marlins Hotel in Bournemouth among one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Neil and Michael always give us a very warm welcome when we arrive and are very friendly throughout all of our stay.
Our room was very comfortable and recently refurbished to an excellent high standard. Breakfast is one of the best and always first class also there is plenty of choice too.
Anyone visiting Bournemouth should definitely stay at Marlins you won't find anything better for comfort, friendliness and home from home!
My partner and I have stayed here 3 times now and we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

We stayed for 4 nights over the Air Festival Weekend and were greeted warmly on arrival, that continued through out our stay. This is a beautifully decorated hotel with so much character. Our bedroom was fantastic and met all our needs. Neil & Micheal were extremely accomodating and were continually on hand if needed. COMPLIMENTS to the chef - the breakfasts were filling and cooked to absolute perfection. We will definitely be returning. NIKKI & DAVE Nothamptonshire

We stayed at the Marlins for one night because of its close proximity to the Pavilion Theatre and town centre. We had a last minute deal which proved to be good value for money. We would not have rated it good value had we paid the full published rate. Our room was spotless, comfortable and modern, not as shown on some of the booking websites which do not do it justice. We marked the service down slightly because there are not enough tables for breakfast compared with the number of rooms, so some guests had to wait in the lounge for a vacant table. Considering breakfast is only served until 9.30 we felt this was not acceptable for the cost of the stay. Otherwise, king size bed, excellent shower and exceptional cleanliness made the stay very pleasant.

Spent 2 nights here, large comfortable bed and recently refurbished room .
Was able to check into room early which is always appreciated.
Ideal location near to seafront and shops.
Very helpful owners with good local knowledge of where to visit and eat.
Would certainly stay here again.

We all loved this hotel, including our 2 young daughters.
The whole hotel was beautifully decorated and furnished and we found our room comfortable and attractive.
Michael and Neil obviously love what they do and it showed..... in the decor - they have an eye for detail ( fresh flowers, books to read)........ in their friendly and helpful service - giving really useful advice about what to do and where to go...... in their choice of location - the hotel was within minutes of the town, beaches and super restaurants and had ample off road parking.
It was like a home from home only better!

This was our first stay with Marlins. We will be returning, based on the good service, comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble, and service was always delivered with an English voice and a smile - something which is often lacking in the hotel industry. Having stayed at other hotels/guest houses in the Bournemouth area, this is by far the nicest.

A visit to Marlins included a very warm welcome from some of the best hoteliers we've met, very friendly and filled with local information. We stayed in cozy room number 11, at the top of the hotel, it was clean, quiet and benefited from some really nice touches such as wireless internet, flat screen TV with dozens of extra channels (more than the usual offering at more expensive establishments) a bathrobe, extra pillows, double glazed window, hair dryer and biscuits. The 'big breakfast' is wonderful, served fresh and hot with amazing sausages! If you are not in the mood for a full English there's warm croissants, a selection of cereal and lots more besides. From the wealth of brochures in the reception area to the attentive breakfast service, a high standard is apparent throughout Marlins. Its ideally located, within just a few minutes walk you can be at the beach or in the town centre. The number 50 bus operates every 30 minutes from the stop just outside, an open top service which runs through Sandbanks to Swanage via the ferry, one of the best ways to see the region. We highly recommend a visit to Marlins.
