I had gone on a family outing on easter weekend. The hotel is at a strategic location (beach is hardly 4-5 mins ) walk, lots of pubs and restaurants close by. City centre is 10 mins walk from hotel.
We had booked 3 rooms and all of them were cleanly maintained through out our stay.
The owners [couple] are friendly (specially lady) the old man is found occupied with his own thoughts humming songs but a very good chef.
The breakfast was very good with lots of varieties offered only that you need to have it before 9 a.m. which is bit tough on early risers.
Only one point was slight frustrating, my brother's little girl was sleeping in the room adjacent to reception and old man was talking with some guests/ friends loudly... and on request he mentioned that this is my property and i can talk where ever i want, which we thought was unpleasant.
Overall great experience and I would certainly like to stay here again.

Room Tip: we stayed in 1, 3, 4.. all were good, expect the toilet flush was not working in room 1

Friendly welcome. Bathroom very cold, needs radiator or at least a hot towel rail. Dining room also very cold. We were told that one of the radiators had leaked and was turned off in the diningroom. Owners were very friendly and helpfull.

Room Tip: Choose upstairs as down stairs room very noisy.

We booked this hotel at 6pm for the same night.
When we arrived (at 8pm), the manager wouldn't have it that we'd booked a room. Once inside, he found the confirmation fax & explained that they only take bookings made the previous day, we were lucky to get the last room (the one we HAD booked? lol). Some could have been put off by his manner, but he was humming a tune the whole time he was talking to us, & didn't talk offish at all :)
As we walked to the room, my daughter said "he is the strangest man I have ever met" lol
The room was clean & spacious, & we even had a sea view.
Whilst my wife got ready, I popped into the bar for a drink, but no one was around, so went to the pub opposite.
The breakfast menu was made up of about 10 different countries food, I opted for the Spanish, it was the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel.
Overall, an interesting trip & I would stay at the Safari again.

Me and my cousin stayed here for 2 nights ona clubbing weekend in Bournemouth.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
The only thing we could pick at would be the breakfast as the sausage was a little red inside and we felt a little ill towards the end of the day because of it.
The room was standard and well equipped. Hotel is in a good location and has a off license over the road.
Also, The walls are quite thin and you can hear people talking in the next rooms...
