I stayed one night over the May Bank Holiday as a lone traveller to a convention in the BIC. I was able to park my car in the car park to the back of the hotel over the two full days. It took about 10 mins to walk own to the pier. However, anyone unable to manage hills would find this difficult!! The room was clean and welcoming. The staff friendly. I was very impressed by the old fashioned grandeur of the hotel of a different time and place away from modern life. The front gardens are splendid and lovely to sit out in. My breakfast was gorgeous, cooked to order with everything you could ask for, looking out across the gardens onto the sea. Fabulous. And a bargain too at only £65 for a single room for the night.

We stayed here over the bank holiday and could not have been more pleased with our stay at the Miramar. Although the decor was a little dated, the room was of an excellent size, with a great bed and lovely sitting area, all in view of the wonderful gardens and the sea. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was great. Only drawback was the hairdryer- bring your own if you don't want your hair eaten

Room Tip: Top floor avoids noise from bar-make sure you have a sea view

This was my first stay at the Miramar and it was absolutely superb, I went with a large group of friends for a weekend away in March and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
The rooms were very comfortable and spacious and meals in the restaurant were delicious and varied with waiter service for both breakfast and evening meal. The staff were wonderful and very efficient. There are super views over the sea which is just a short walk away.
I would definitely use this hotel again should I visit Bournemouth, a wonderful experience.

We have just returned from a great stay at the Hotel Miramar,30th April, 1st May we payed extra and had the last balcony room 107 The Shelly Room overlooking the wonderful gardens and sea with a large balcony where we were able to sit in the sunshine and have a glass of wine Large king size bed, cut crystal glasses in the cupboard and new fitted bathroom suite. Martyn on reception was very smart and professional, as were all the staff, the breakfast was waiter service and presented very quickly, there did seem to be a fair amount of elderly people staying at this hotel.

Room Tip: If you can afford room 107 The Shelly room, its worth it Overlooking the front of the hotel with la...

Our first stay at the Miramar and it definitely won't be the last. Lovely room, although a standard room it was a good size, well furnished & very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was varied, good quality and very tasty! We found the staff extremely friendly, courteous and very efficient. Full marks all round - can't wait for our next visit!

I have just returned with my husband from another great weekend in Hotel Miramar in sunny Bournemouth. This is the second time we have stayed and would thoroughly recommend it. The setting is beautiful, our room was small but adequate. The food is first class and the staff in the dining room are very efficient.
Will definitely return later in the year.

Room Tip: Our room was 206 on the second floor. Very quiet but on the small side. Still ok though.
