“Great weekend”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

Having just returned from a Hen weekend at the Trouville we had an excellent time. The hotel was really good, although creaky floorboards in our rooms! We had rooms 1,2,3 and 4 which were quite secluded. The breakfast was very good, nice restaurant and bar/lounge area. Very good position for bars, beach and town, all walkable. The hotel is up a hill, but up until 11pm the back door through the car park cuts off a good part of it. Even though to my knowledge there were two stag weekends there we did not hear them, just passed them in the bar! This would be an excellent hotel to visit Bournemouth and probably in the week would not have stag/hen parties.

Stayed for one night, and it was fine.
Nice staff, spacious room, and great nights sleep.
Only downside, the floorboards were very very creaky, and you could hear every movement from other rooms.
But would stay again.

Service was fantastic, from booking a room over the phone to the day of departure, bar service and breakfast all great. Staff really helpful. The room was clean and modern however it was so hot even with the windows wide open. It was sweltering hot all night, we slept with nothing over us, no duvet! In fact the whole hotel was really hot throughout, nightmare in the summer. Apart from that would recommend just ask for a fan!!

Stayed for a 4 night trip with Alfa (but it is not one of their Liesureplex ones).Buffet breakfast very good, evening meal good ,but for some strange reason they want you to pay £3.50 extra for the cheese and biscuits if you dont want a sweet.Staff friendly, room a bit dated but good , very clean.Unfortunately the floorboards creaked with every step in the room (and all the rooms local to ours).Didnt like Bournemouth though.

Room Tip: No rooms have a view but the ones near the front noisy

It makes the hotel look great, but it isn't! Good location, but that's all. The most dreadful beds I have ever tried to sleep on. We were show two bedrooms on the top floor first of all. The first one (310) the bathroom was dank and musty, (311) the bedroom as well smelt. At least 210 didn't smell, but that's all. Shabby and it didn't seem to be very clean. Would never go back. Staff on reception very helpful. Very expensive for what it is.

Room Tip: Don't.

Stayed here on the 27th of May 2014 room 213 great value, clean great friendly staff and a gym and pool. Bath room had recently be decorated and looked great, room was spotless, yes not modern or boutique but then for the price well worth it. Stayed in a lot worse and paid a lot more. Well done this is a hotel to stay in and enjoy, the only negative was the floor boards are a bit load and I did find my self trying to tip toe for the sack of the room below, but the bed was very comfortable. Really can't complain.

Have stayed here twice, the staff are friendly and is very close to the BIC if you don't want to go far after a concert. The rooms though need some TLC and the floor boards creak everywhere in both rooms I've had, which must be annoying to the people below. Only had breakfast there which had a good choice of options.
