I prefer this venue to the BIC for shows as it's got a better layout to see the stage, but I was restricted for the live music event that I went to because the seats are fixed so there's little space for dancing!
The ambience of the place including it's history is really nice and the staff are really friendly too.

Easily accessible, with excellent pay & display parking. Disappointing to be cold during the performance, even though it was the middle of summer. Not really sure how they can overcome that, apart from heating all year round.

Lovely old building with great views from where ever you sit. However due to the age of the theatre the seats are on the small side and there didn't seem to be any air con and it was warm in there. On the plus side Sean lock was fab !

The Pavilion Theatre unfortunately is well overdue for a refurbishment. The seating needs replacing and the flooring needs to be arranged hope people of all heights can see the show wherever thy are seated. On saying this people must remember that Bournemouth has three entertainment venues. Top of the list is the B.I.C. the newer and smartest, the Pavilion which is average and the Pier Theatre which needs knocking down and rebuilt. The other piece of advice is when booking shows at any of these Theatres phone calls are expensive and booking on line is not that easy and even charge £1 for printing your tickets of yourself. Also beware of food and drink prices at any of these venues.
