Spent three nights with a Bridge Group at the end of October, 2013. Was delighted to find I had been given a suite with a queen sized bed and separate sitting room - with a sea view. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful - with always a smile. The decor was a little old fashioned but very pleasant, and the food beautifully presented. Would certainly recommend this Hotel and look forward to another trip next year

I've just completed my 3 day break at the East Cliff Court and would say that each visit, this is my third, just seems to be better than the last.I would certainly say that the restaurant and the choice of food could not be surpassed. The staff are quite outstanding, nothing is too much trouble and ev ery request is met with a smile. The hotel enjoys a great location, affording splendid views and is only a short walk to town from where there is a great bus service with trips to many places of interest.Guests are allowed to make use of the facilities at the Carlton (next door) which include aheated pool, well equipped gymnasium etc. It all combines to make this a great choice.

Room Tip: pay the little extra and go for a sea view room

Just spent a great weekend here 1st-3rd November. On arrival found fast efficient and friendly reception staff. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and well appointed, looked to have been recently refurbished. The room was on the side of the hotel but the bay window still gave you a sea view. Again the public areas are very well kept with several different lounge areas to sit and relax. We found all staff throughout the hotel to be very polite friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and found the food to be of a good standard. We were part of a large group so catering for about 80 people on our gala dinner was a challenge, however it was dealt with very efficiently by the restaurant staff who quickly served the meals so that they arrived hot and timely. This hotel is in a great location on the sea front and about 10/15 minutes walk from the town centre. Would certainly use this hotel again.

This is an lovely hotel in an excellent position with wonderful staff and really good value for money. I would warn however that there are lots of stairs which are hard to avoid.and folk with mobility problems might find it difficult.. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable and the food was really good.

We just finished our second 3-night stay at the hotel. It is a warm and friendly place, with nice, spacious, well-equipped rooms, comfy lounges and a good restaurant. The location on the cliff is perfect for walking along to Boscombe or into Bournemouth. Our rooms were on the side, but the bay windows allowed us a sea-view, which was lovely. Our only criticism is that some parts of the hotel are hard for disabled or elderly people to reach but the main areas are all accessible. A good choice for a few days in Bournemouth.

I stayed her with my mum for a weekend break. The hotel is beautiful, lovely decor inside and out kind of art deco at the seaside. I felt like i was in an episode of Poirot, it was lovely!

We had a seaview room with a balcony right in the middle of the first floor, it was gorgeous. Floor to ceiling views of the sea, views of the pier and the isle of wight.

We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel on 2 occasions for each, the breakfast was good and varied, cooked and continental options, really filled us up for the day. I wasn't too keen on the dinner on the first night but the second night redeemed itself, i am really fussy though so if id been more adventurous it would have been good as there were lots to choose from.

The staff were very attentive, my mum took ill on the 2nd day and everyone rallied round to get her feeling better.

The hotel is very close to the pier and town centre, only £5 in a taxi if you can't walk and has lifts to all floors. We would def come back!

Room Tip: First floor, sea view rooms

Stayed at the East Cliff for one night on Oct 19th with 2 friends. Both couples had lovely, clean spacious rooms with very comfortable beds, very surprised on arrival to find that we both had seaview rooms as the paperwork from Booking.com stated inland facing. Hotel very comfortable, staff all very nice, would return if ever staying in Bournemouth again and take advantage of the leisure facilities at the sister hotel next door.
