My husband and I had their so-called Valentine's Romantic Offer, with a Bottle of Bubbly and a box of chocolates in the room upon arrival. Would a couple expect to be in a Twin Room with very dirty and full of mildew bathroom? There was no any sign of a Valentine's special in the room either. I called the Reception and asked for a Double Room and we were asked to go back down. Reception staff seemed that they didn't have any idea about their own special offers. They were unapproachable and never said a word apart from our room number. Very unwelcoming and poor customer service skills. We had the Bottle of Perry and a small box of chocolates after asking them twice. The same thing happened when we checked out after our 3-night stay. There was no "Thank you for coming or we hope you've enjoyed your stay, and so forth..." Nothing at all, as if they could not open their mouths. Restaurant staff were also very rude. They just clear the table even without finishing your food. All staff lack a proper training in customer relations, food and hygiene, and table service manners. Speaking of hygiene, the Waiters wipe the tables with cleansing chemical, then lay the new cutleries straight on top of the wet tables. We are extremely disappointed with all of the staff in this hotel. We never saw any of them who actually gave a little smile. They all looked miserable and unhappy with their jobs.

Only booked this at very short notice. Cheap rate, but make sure you are aware, £2 admin fee, (no matter how you pay) plus £3 car parking charges. (Gotta say parking very very bad) got boxed in last night.... So had to take taxi to venue we were going to. So that was another £9 to add to the bill. Although hotel is really in need of update and good lick of paint. Was very dissapointed that if you wanted a swim £4 adult £2 kids. Pool, sauna, etc very nice, changing rooms and lockers bad..... Breakfast very very good.... Would definately recommend but make sure you get the cheapest starting price...... Staff all friendly.....

Room Tip: We had twin room, not much space, but comfortable, quiet room....

We needed at short notice an inexpensive Pet Friendly Hotel in Bournemouth with a double room.
We found this hotel which fitted the bill and booked Friday evening for the next day.
The hotel was easy enough to find near the East Cliffe lift.on a quiet side street.
Outside looks fine but car park is far too small for number of rooms. The better news is you can garage park 200 yards away at a sister hotel or park for free between 18.00 and 09.00 then 0.50 per hour. Parking on site was £3.00 per night so on street was a reasonable deal which we used.
Out room was comfortably small but was fine for us and our small dog with en suite shower on ground floor. Unfortunately the view was out on the back car park but hey it was dark most of the time we were there.
The room was clean and had kettle with tea and coffee and a TV with some stations, bed comfy. The decor was a little tired and a gap under the door let light in but no big problem.
The downside was the other guests waking us up at 01:45 and 04:45 coming in noisily from a night out. Frankly made dog bark they were so noisy but settled her down and they soon quietened down.
Then woken about 07:30 by staff arriving for work and pulling vacuum cleaners along tile corridor floor.
The good news is the buffet breakfast from 08:00 to 10:00. Great choice, fresh and tasty. Definite high point .
No sign of reviellers though! Wonder why!
Staff were polite, smart and very helpful indeed a model of what hotel staff should be.

Would we recommend? Most certainly but avoid any room number below 5 to avoid the staff and hope you don't get party goers!
Greta value, great people. Well done.

had 2 nights at this hotel, it was very good, although quite dated, it was spotlessly clean, the rooms were good, comfy beds and very warm, we were there in january and there had been a lot of snow so it was freezing out side. The food was delicious, we had breakfast and evening meal. The entertainment on the evening was good. The staff were very attentive, and helpful. The location was perfect, just 5 minutes to the sea front, and 10 minutes to the shopping centre. Would definitely stay here again.

we went on a national coach holiday to bournemouth. we went for 5 days the dates we stay was mon 28th jan to fri 1st feb 2013. the room we had on the second floor was big, the bed was very good and comfortable. it was spotless and clean. we was on the last sitting for dinner at 7.30 pm . we could not watch the entertainment because the lounge is not big enough. the staff was excellent and nice and friendly. good choice of food as well.

Room Tip: we was on the second floor and they was no noise, they do ground floor rooms as well.
