Hotel is in need of up-dating and decorating but you can't fault the staff. All were helpful, very polite and cheerful. We had a large room on the 4th floor (401) with a nice view over lawns to the sea. The room was spacious, airy, clean and comfy. The bathroom was spotless! Breakfast was very good and the evening meal had good a choice. It would be nice to be able to order wine with your meal.

My husband and I booked a double room with a sea view for a weekend away and were disappointed. The whole hotel is run down and in serious need of renovation.

The 'car park' is so small you're luck to get a space and either have to park in one of the sister hotels down the road for £3 a day, or pay and display on street parking.

The lifts are SO small you can only just squeeze two small people and a suitcase in. No room at all for a pushchair!

Our sea view wasn't quite what we were expecting. We could only just see the sea whilst looking down the side of high rise flats through very dirty windows!

The walls are thin resulting in no peace from hearing neighbours coming and going, showering etc.

ON A POSITIVE NOTE....
It's in a great location with the beach and Bournemouth town centre just a stones throw away.

The staff we very helpful, friendly and welcoming.

Breakfast was the only meals we ate at the hotel and were impressed with the variety and quality of the food.

Unfortunately, not a hotel we would return to.

Staff were lovely hotel seriously in need of TLC.
Have never heard of a hotel that charges extra for using pool(?)
Bathroom had not been cleaned in a very long time
No nets on windows
Teeny tiny bed
Dubious stains on bedding and furniture
No fridge
No air- con( kind of fair enough) but no fans or windows that would open properly...
£180? Expected a little bit better for my money, sorry to be a "MOANER" but some of us work hard for our money and a night away / break
are few and far between...

Room Tip: Go somewhere else

I stayed here with my partner . The bed might as well be a single bed there is no room to move in the room , bathroom is bigger , furniture is very old fashioned , you can hear EVERYTHING AROUND YOU WITHIN THE HOTEL. They have a swimming pool BUT even as paying guests you have to pay on top of your accommodation for the privilege.... WOULD NOT COME BACK... I am writing this while sitting in the shoebox they call a room!!!
