I have stayed here numerous times with groups of girls (upto 6 of us) and we book in here everytime we go to Bournemouth.
It's clean, close to the nightlife, cheap and the rooms are a good size.
It's a good laugh staying here.
I really don't get all the negative reviews, do people expect the ritz for £25pppn a night?!
Yes, it's noisy at night, but it is basically a hotel for people on nights out?! Who gets up for Breakfast anyways?!

We booked and only then read the Trip Advisor reviews! We were a bit scared that it would be dreadful, but was pleasantly surprised.

Now, it was a bit noisy around 2 or 3am. I suppose when a B&B only costs £25 pppn, you're going to get a lot of people down for a night out.

The pool room/bar was clean and tidy, although it was a bit cheeky that the pool table accepted our money when there were balls missing! Bar prices were reasonable.

We had a twin room upstairs facing the front of the building. Bath, toilet, towels, bedding and carpets were clean. Room was tidy. TV remote worked and had access to all the Freeview channels.

We didn't try the breakfast.

I'd definitely book again.

Just to let you know the sort of place you will be dealing with, read the following and beware. We made a short notice booking, through HostelBookers and were sent an e-mail by the hotel asking us to confirm the booking by sending our credit card security number, which we did not do. We decided not to go ahead and 4 hours after making it, rang the hotel to cancel what we thought was a provisional booking. The manager was rude, offhand and arrogant, stating that because the booking was within 7 days, he was entitled to charge the full amount and had already done so.

If we had confirmed the booking, fair enough, but we have ended up paying £240 for what we consider to be a 4-hour provisional booking. The manager really couldn't care less, as long as he got his money that was all that mattered. We have asked the Bournemouth Trading Standards Office to look into this shocking practice.

Reading the other reviews on this site, we think we had a costly but lucky escape. The rating of 132nd out of 147 hotels says it all. Unless you are on a stag do, forget it.

We came here for a Hen weekend and it worked out £60 each for the night as only staying on a Saturday! This place felt like the set of a horror film!

Our room had 3 bunk beds in an average double size room, hardly any space for 6 of us! All of the bunk beds only had one rung, the rest broken off, turns out that on one bed, the rung wasn't attached and was just balanced on! Only 2 had safety bars on the top. Very dangerous!

As others have said the breakfast was appalling with a bowl of boiled eggs, some processed cheese slices and anaemic looking ham.

I don't think they know what a Hoover is and the smell of the place was gag inducing!

Luckily we had a great time outside of this place with good friends. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

The worst hotel I have stayed in, it says on the site that it is newly refurbished, the walls were all dirty and had a lots of water damage every where, Windows that don't stay open, curtains falling off the Windows, cob webs hanging from the ceiling, rooms don't get changed every day, dust everywhere, a farm is cleaner, no one is at the reception when u need someone, it is a bad hotel, I advise you not to stay their,

All these people slating this place obviously had a bad night on the town. Yes it's basic the hotel but the bar is open all night and the staff are friendly and will help in any way they can.

As many people have already said, if you take someone you love here they will leave you. It's not designed for romantic getaways. You will see the usual amount of stags dressed up in giant hotdogs or othe food groups.

Staff friendly, clean rooms, all night bar, cheap compared to competitors and great location. Just enjoy
