Excellent accomodation at an affordable price. I went with my mother and 12-year-old daughter. We had a single with a private bathroom and twin with private bathroom for £25 per person per night, with television in the room.
A television is provided in each room. A kettle and cups were provided quickly by the room staff on request.
Breakfast was self-service, described as "Continental" but consisted of a good selection of fruit juice, cereals, toast (wholemeal available) and some hot food.
Although the welcome by the receptionist was cool, he asked for only a small deposit when he saw that we did not look as though we would damage the place.
The location is convenient being on the West Cliff with good swimming in the sea a few minutes walk away and the pier and gardens about ten minutes walk away along the cliff. A convenience store and a few places serving hot food are a few minutes walk from the hotel.
The rooms were quiet apart from a little noise early in the evening.
Parking is available in the hotel's car park for a small daily rate.
Based on our experience, I would recommend the place to anyone looking for reasonably priced accommodation in Bournemouth.More
