Great central location with free parking. Good quality room and very helpful staff. Full English breakfast was great and can fully reommend this value for money hotel.

Just spent a week at the hotel. clean room, excellent shower, breakfast very good, lady in dining room very friendly. However - we paid for a hotel and got an over priced B & B.
There was no bar and no lounge to talk about to sit in. We were told on arrival to make sure we always had our key as once the reception desk closed at night no staff were available on the premises till the next morning. We returned at 7.00 p.m. one night all the staff had gone and I had an argument with a eastern european lady who tried to get in with us saying she stayed there but had forgotten her key? Only one nice place to eat unless you wanted fish and chips every night. The free wi-fi only allowed one person at a time to use it.

Stayed one night along with 3 colleagues. Each room told the same story! Very musty smell from the bathrooms, and dusty and uncared for rooms! The welcome at reception was a list of dos and don'ts! Bizarre attempt at a welcome!

I stayed at the Glendevon for work. The room was large, uncared for and very unclean.

The worst part of this hotel is the uncleanliness!! When I arrived the bed had hairs on it which is compeletly unacceptable! The carpet was dirty, the radiator was on the floor. The bed and pancake pillows were very uncomfortable. The shower was warm but not very powerful.

Breakfast was ok with a choice of cereals and full english and the staff were very friendly. Restaraunts around the hotel were not great.

Parking was limited.

Location was the only plus point really. It was only a 5 minute walk from the BIC and the beach.

Thank goodness we were only staying one night or we would have booked out.
The room was small and shabby. The tea tray had not been refilled after the departure of the previous guests. The bed linen was clean although the pillow cases on both beds were stained. Luckily there were spare ones in the wardrobe.

However the reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

We would not go back there even though the location is good, five minute walk to beach and town centre.
