Oooophh that FOOD 🤤 If you want to go to a place that’s a little bit different, with a killer drinks selection and INSANE burgers - this is it. The food portions were hearty and absolutely delicious. Wish I took a picture of The Big Kahuna - holy moly! The drinks selection, whether you’re looking for craft beer, draught beer, non wanky beer, wine, spirits, shots or crazy cocktails... it’s got them in abundance!

I’ve been to this place pre-lockdown and it always played an awesome range of music so can’t wait for that to start up again. The staff are all super friendly and make you feel at home, it’s a really nice vibe to be around.

If you’re rooting for independent businesses in this climate, this is an absolute gem of a bar that deserves a visit 👌

We found the four horsemen on our way back from a dinner booking and decided to stop in for one... safe to say we stayed for a while!

We went on a Thursday not realising it was 2 for 1 on their cocktails selection (cheapest drink free) as well as having a decent craft beer selection on offer. The cocktails we had were really vibrant and full of flavour with a lot to choose from, we didn't stop for food but wish we had.

Really quirky decor with graffiti style art throughout and a decent soundtrack playing for the evening, the team were very friendly and accommodating and there were covid precautions in place so we felt very relaxed on our visit... I'm sure we will definitely be back!

Came here for a meal and drinks and loved the selection of drinks on offer and staff were very knowledgeable of their drinks. There were alcoholic milkshakes and cocktails that were reasonable price wise. A huge selection of ales beers and ciders and spirits. The food is all hand made by the chef and we had large burgers that were huge. They were cooked well and amazing. The only problem I had was that sweet potato fries were £4.50! Which I thought was steep compared to everything eles.

Thankyou though had a great night

This pub may have been amazing - had we actually gotten to experience it. I don't usually like to leave negative reviews, especially given the current climate, but was completely let down by this place. With the situation being what it is, I emailed ahead to book in for some drinks on Monday 3rd at 10pm. Communication was initially good, got a response to let me know that they were closing at 11pm at the moment which I replied to say was no issue for us, and the booking was confirmed. We had a previous booking which we left to come to the four horsemen. On arrival the lights were all on and there were people at one table in the window, We tried the doors to find them locked. initially i thought it must be due to covid and we would have to buzz the doorbell to be let in. No answer. We repeatedly buzzed the door bell, banged on the doors and tried the doors again, with no answer. It was after about ten minutes of this that my Dad pointed out all the signs had been taken inside and were in the entrance way, It was obvious by now that they had closed early and the table of people were actually the staff/managers. Who completely ignored us and our attempts to enter the building, no acknowledgement whatsoever. My Mum went round to the front windows to catch their attention, to be ignored by a lady who was actually facing her and looking straight at her. Eventually we had to give up and leave. Given that half the pubs by this time were full/booked and the other half had closed this could have completely ruined our evening, but fortunately we found another pub who accomodated us. I completely understand that at the moment things can be unpredictable and closing early may be necessary, but I would have expected to receive an email to advise us of this, or at the very least, had the staff come to the door when we arrived and explain. Had we known, we wouldn't have left the booking we had before where we could have had the table for another hour, but instead had chosen to also give our custom to this pub. Myself, sister and parents were only away for the one night, and was the only break we had had all year. Like many others, we have worked all the way through the pandemic, have had our holidays cancelled and were enjoying the one little break that we have this year, and were so disappointed in this venue and the way they treat their customers. There's been a lot of news reports slating customers who make bookings and then just do not turn up and the strain it puts on businesses, but it seems it goes both ways! Despite the large range of drinks and how interesting this place looked, we will not be back. I would rather go to a pub/bar that values it's customers.
