“Good for a large family”
Reviewed 5 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

This is a 5 bedroom property all with at least a wash basin to each room. I think there was only 2 rooms without a toilet or shower. It was very spacious and very handy having two lounge rooms. Small rear garden for the size of the property and drive in front of the house for 2 cars. The drive and garage at the side of the property is not for the house and has to be kept clear.

The house was quite clean but when we came to use the oven, we were very disappointed and had to start scrubbing. We ended up putting kitchen foil over the trays as the shelves and trays would not come clean. The kitchen was lacking some instructions which made it difficult to use some of appliances. There was supposed to be special bags to recycle the food waste, but there wasn't any.

The house is a short walk to Boscombe town but to be fair there is not much there other than fast food places. This house is not in a prestige area, as described.

We used the house as a base to travel about and it most certainly served its purpose.

There were spare spades, DVDs, chairs, scooters for the kids, books, games, Sky tv and digital in a mother room. The beds were pretty comfy and we all slept well.

The house allows pets, which made me a bit dubious of smells and pet hair but I was very pleased that this was not the case. Although upon using the vacuum cleaner, this did smell very badly of dogs and all windows had to be opened when cleaning! Attention needed there.

All in all, a good holiday home.
