A very enjoyable lunch time, staff were very proffesional and friendly. Food was very tasty and well presented. If you don't have a big appetite would recommend you ask for small portions. All in all a very pleasant experience in this spottlessy clean local pub. Would definately visit again.

We are very sorry this customer left our pub with such a poor opinion of us.
We really do understand how disappointing it can be when something goes wrong and have a 'no quibble' policy when dealing with complaints. Our staff are trained to deal decisively and sympathetically with complaints and to always refer to us if necessary. We will always get involved to help resolve a problem to our customers satisfaction.
A replacement meal will obviously take priority in the kitchen but may take a while to arrive at the table because all our food is cooked to order.

A lovely country pub, complete with babbling brook, generous portions of tasty, hearty fare, all country pubs should be of this standard.  Service is excellent and friendly.  Well worth a visit.

Great pub, great food (huge portions). I'd recommend the cheese ploughmans, which was the best I'd ever had with very generous servings of cheese. The regulars are very friendly, there's a garden outside that's great for letting kids/dogs let of steam and make sure to check out the photos on the wall which give a fascinating insight into how village life has evolved over the years.
