Visited Potters for lunch with a friend last week - what a disappointment. Overpriced food & small portions - the Potters salad we had was side-salad size but main course price. I had to go home & cook myself a meal later! Service wasn't up to much either - my friend's second course arrived 15 minutes after mine, & wasn't worth the wait. Not recommended, & won't be going there again :-(

“Darling Little Gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 October 2010

We had a late lunch at the Potters Cafe Bistro and were delighted both with the food and the atmosphere. The owners have managed to combine an up-scale atmosphere with the charm of history. The building was originally a pottery, and the huge, brick fireplace is the central feature. The decor is contemporary, but not the Euro-black-crome-glass style which has long ceased to be either modern or unique. Instead, Potters achieves a contemporary but warm feel with lots of pale wood. We have a deep love for the past and always enjoy discovering a new place with history and character. To have this and great food is a double treat. And it would not do to overlook the cheerful, helpful staff. They also have garden seating which is lovely.
