“a real gem”
Reviewed 7 June 2014

Seeking a snack lunch, we were drawn to this little gem by the delicious smells wafting past the alleyway entrance. The day was warm so we sat outside and were absolutely delighted with the generous seared tuna salad nicoise, delicously fresh, wonderfully seasoned with fresh dill and cooked to perfection all for £8.95! We will definately be returning!

“Good food and lovely relaxed atmosphere”
Reviewed 6 June 2014

Wonderful place with a quirky feel tucked away from the road which helps to give it a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Service is attentive and you get to see the cook performing in the open kitchen which adds to the overall experience which is very welcoming. I had the mussels followed by Hake. The dishes oozed the taste of the sea and were obviously very fresh, the mussels so lightly cooked they tasted soft and succulent with a well weighted sauce. The Hake was subtly seasoned and tasted delicious with a nice selection of well presented vegetables. In all a wonderful experience with a few glasses of pinot noir, highly recommended !

“Gorgeous fish dishes”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

My husband and I went to trinity bistro for a leisurely lunch , whilst our children watched a film at the Plaza. We received a vet warm and friendly reception. We had mussels and fish pie which was lovely. Don't expect swift service.. It is a relaxed atmosphere and lunch is at a leisurely pace ( which I prefer). My fish pie was the best! ... Didn't want it to end!!
Service is a tad unconventional.... And certainly informal. The personalities of the team come across well, which really gives this restaurant it's character.
Dave is such a brilliant chef, and nothing is too much trouble for him. It is child friendly... And one of my favourite restaurants around.
We will be back soon.

“Wonderful food, wonderful staff , highly recommend”
Reviewed 24 May 2014

Really enjoyed our meal at the Trinity Bistro. Everyone working there is so friendly, it feels like you've been welcomed into their home for dinner. The open kitchen is lovely, can see food being prepared. A very warm, relaxed atmosphere, nice spaces between tables so you don't feel like you're all packed in. Really enjoyed the food! Especially good if you enjoy seafood, also nice vegetarian options. Definitely recommend.

“Excellent value and quality food”
Reviewed 23 May 2014

We have now visited this restaurant several times for either lunch or supper and found the quality never falters. Chef Dave and Kirsten are always friendly and helpful. You will be sorry, if a seafood lover you do not visit this hidden gem! A particular favourite is the moule marinata - the best we have ever had!
