We needed a disabled room so that we could take our brother away for Easter. The ground floor room was great. A ramp to give us easy access with a walker or wheelchair, a bathroom set up for disabled needs and the lovely garden room so we could all be together and look out at the garden.

The breakfast was superb. A huge array of cereals to choose from, fruit juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt, lovely full English, toast, pots of tea or coffee.

Rooms are well appointed, the wifi was great and the choice of toiletries was surprising.

We had a lovely break and certainly recommend this Guest House to anyone

We stayed for 4 nights at this wonderful B&B. The owner Joan was welcoming and very helpful and the room was extremely clean with a great range of toiletries as well as a hospitality tray even better than a hotel's. The beds were comfortable and no traffic noise to disturb us. The breakfast really was second to none with a choice of no less than 16 cereals, 12 types of breakfast and every type of tea and coffee you could possibly want including organic and herbal ones. All served by a very helpful waitress. We will definitely be back to this fabulous B&B.

Joan just cannot do enough for her guests. Even offered to pick me up from the station really late on a cold, wet night!
I stayed in the little single bedroom with private bathroom across the landing. Bed was so cozy and pillow soft that I just did not want to get up in the morning. Everything provided that a traveller could possibly need. Toiletries in the bathroom are amazing because of their selection. Joan even provides a face cloth.
Lovely hospitality tray in the bedroom. And just wait until you see the selection of food stuffs in the dining room!!
I was charged £36 for this wonderful stay.
Would I stay here again. You bet.
Thank you Joan. You run an amazing establishment.

Just a great place to stay when in the area, the rooms are excellent.
The finest of hosts, who have thought of everything that you need and provided it for you, so that you can enjoy your stay.
On the outskirts of the town, but this is not a problem, ten minutes walk to the centre.
Highly recommend and will return
