We only just found out about tripadvisor from an article in the Daily Mail, and although we stayed there in September last year, we feel it is important for us to recommend Joan's guest house to anybody thinking of staying in Dorchester. Joan treated us like members of her family. She went out of her way to help us find places of interest in the area, which we would otherwise not have found. My wife's wrist had been broken earlier in our tour, and Joan wanted to help her with all her lifting and carrying tasks. Our room was very comfortable, and the bathroom excellent, and breakfast was outstanding. What more could you want? Joan, thanks for taking such great care of us. Hope the travel books on Ireland were useful. We're planning another visit this summer, so we hope to see you again. Thanks, John and Ali.
