My partner and I stayed for two nights in the studio apartment. The decor is gorgeous, modern but still retaining a cottage style. It is clean, warm and cosy. You are provided with a breakfast pack including bread, croissants, milk, eggs, juice and cereals. The only slight criticism is that in a continental breakfast I would expect cheese and cold meats. Maybe it would be nice if before arrival you could request what sort of things you want in your breakfast pack.
This is really a very small criticism though, everything else was perfect and the area itself is really lovely, very close to Shaftesbury. The owners are happy recommend good places to get dinner.

I would definitely recommend this beautiful studio if you are in the area, I only wish we could have stayed longer.

The owners have done everything to make a stay here as comfortable and welcoming as possible. The attention to detail is everywhere from fluffy towells to good lighting, quality appliances and attractive decor. Everything is spotlessly clean and easy to use. The wonderful selection of books on the local area was the icing on the cake.

I have recently just got back from a stay at Applehay studio and it was fantastic. The owners were very welcome and friendly and helped us with different places to eat. We had a very nice continental breakfast each morning and had a nice garden to enjoy the beautiful weather. We are in our mid twenties and although it was in a very quiet area there was still loads to do and lots of nice pubs around. It is also close to Longlet Zoo, which was amazing also. I plan to go back very soon!

We've just returned from another delightful stay at Applehay and are already planning another visit. It's the perfect spot for recharging the batteries - such a peaceful location - yet there's plenty to do nearby. The studio is impeccable and we have always been made very welcome by the owners. It's a great base for walking and cycling and within easy reach of places like Bath, Salisbury and the Dorset coast.

A delightful studio in a beautiful part of England, guaranteed to bring your pulse rate down. Jo and Alan, the proprietors, are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. A great area for walking, cycling and sight-seeing. The generously stocked fridge is a plus!

Stayed at Applehay for a couple of nights. Excellent accommodation. The studio is self contained so really is a home from home. The owners keep the place well maintained and clean, and they are both very friendly and welcoming. Great selection of breakfast provisions. a very peaceful surrounding. Thanks,
