Had an absolutely scrummy meal at Ye Olde Two Brewers made by a very charming and enthusiastic young chef called Kevin Francis! We had a really lovely evening and it was cocktail night which was a bonus :) The pub has recently been taken over by a very nice family and they have got a really good team together that looked after us superbly. They have themed nights and we will definitely be going again very soon. Apparently Kevin does a wicked Thai curry which I really want to try. There is loads of choice and veggie options which two of our party had and they said it was really delicious and lots of puddings! You can't go wrong! So nice to have such a lovely family friendly pub and amazing food here in Shaftesbury!! Yippeeeee xxx

Decided to try out after reading recent reviews. Not disappointed. A really friendly relaxed atmosphere and excellent freshly cooked food. Staff helpful and friendly.
Near the bottom of Gold Hill with plenty of parking. Definitely recommend to any locals and visitors.
Thank you

We popped into this pub/restaurant almost at the end of evening food service, they asked us to wait a few minutes and they would sort us a table we sat outside in the garden in the late evening sunshine and were quickly called in
The food was a mixture of good food grub and a range of foods cooked with style shall we say.
Grumpy husband was put out that Elvis seemed to be on loop and commented to the waitress, within moments it was gone and replaced with smoother tunes, then out popped the landlord a guy called Andy and we joked about the music ,he's a very pleasant man ,friendly and warm, trying to build his business and with an approach like this and the laughs coming from the rest of the place it would seem he is succeeding
We hope to bring the family with us in October to have a meal when we are down that way again
Many thanks Andy

Visited the two brewers today for Sunday lunch with my mother, mum had the roast pork and myself the triple meat roast, the service was excellent and the food was fantastic, great flavours and well portioned, the lamb Wellington was to die for!. Complements to the chef, and Andy & Sally the landlord & landlady. We will definatly be back having already booked our table for next week!! I fully recommend this jem of a pub to all who Appreciate a good beer and good food in a relaxed atmosphere.

Visited on way home from Devon. Had a few drinks and lunch. The sticky toffee pudding was fantastic - one of the best I've had.

Well done Sally and Andy. Will definitely visit again!
