Lovely cottage in the heart of Shaftesbury - perfect location, clean, comfortable, warm, cosy. Made to feel so welcome. Lovely welcome pack which my teenage daughter in particular appreciated with the delicious muffins! Very kind and generous to leave that and made one feel ' cared' for!!!

Perfect place to stay and already looking forward to my next visit. Thank you Ashley!

“Perfect location and perfectly appointed accommodation--could not have been better.”
Reviewed 30 November 2013 for a stay in October 2013

The location is perfect for getting around town on foot--no need for a car, but there is a reserved parking space if you are driving.

My wife, her parents and I stayed for a week in October of 2013 in this cottage. It's clean and has everything you'd need to self-cater. There was tea, biscuits, eggs, and more stocked in the kitchen so we had everything we needed from day one. When we did run low on food, two supermarkets are nearby and we simply walked to the store and got what we needed.

The location is walking distance from everything in the center of town. We were only a short 5-10 minute walk from everything we wanted to see. Minutes from several pubs, restaurants, and supermarkets.

The price was more than fair for such a well-kept, clean accommodation. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a low-stress, central, accommodation that has everything you need for a relaxed and enjoyable time in Shaftesbury.

Liked best: The cleanliness and the location of the cottage.
Liked least: The water pressure was a bit low, but that's normal when staying at the top of the hill in Shaftesbury.

“great place to stay”
Reviewed 5 October 2013 for a stay in September 2013

The house is well equipped and very well located in Shaftsbury, it's also a very good base for visiting places not only in Dorset but in the surrounding counties. Lots of National Trust properties within easy reach.
It was lovely to be met by Ashley, who made us very welcome and gave us plenty of ideas about what to see and do.
As other reviewers have commented, the welcome pack was excellent!
All in all, a great holiday

“Last minute heaven”
Reviewed 13 September 2013 for a stay in September 2013

This was a very much a last minute booking. Saw it was available on the Saturday and was able to rent from Sunday to Sunday. Met by owner, Ashley who gave us not only a comprehensive tour but the best welcome pack you could imagine, almost a weeks shopping! Cottage is extremely well located for the town and for getting out of town. Cottage very well decorated and furnished with everything you need. Felt most at home from the very beginning. Sincerely hope we can return again in the future.

“Cosy, central, charming cottage”
Reviewed 26 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

My mom, myself, and my teenage son rented Easter Cottage for two weeks. Easter Cottage was a great home-base for our travels throughout Dorset. We had daily adventures: Salsibury, Bath, Dorchester, and down to the Ocean. One day we even ventured as far as Hinckley. The town of Shaftsbury is a lovely historic town with lots of shopping and restaurants. The grocery store was just a short walk away. The cottage is very clean and comfortable and it was easy to access the wifi for our Skyping back home. It was lovely to be greeted by Ashley and she took the time to prepare a "welcome package" and walk us through some of the key attractions and restaurants that were a must during our visit. We would definitely book the Easter Cottage again for a turn vacation.
