Honest good wholesome British food at its best. Not expensive and well worth a visit to see the ceiling at the back. No frills but the best bacon and egg in the town

This is becoming our favourite place to stop on the way to Dorset when camping - the all day breakfasts are great value - the food doesn't pretend to be anything fancy - the staff are all friendly, the owner is usually about serving or cooking again very friendly chap.

The place offers Great range of good value food - decor is American Diner style - we like it!

A good solid restaurant/ cafe serving good solid to goodness meals. I like the fact the owner goes the whole nine yards in trying to cater for people like myself who are gluten free. When he had no gluten free cake left he raided his own store cupboard for an excellent slice of chocolate fudge cake and refused all payment. Forget all the fancy nancy bijou cafes if you visit Shaftesbury and enjoy a wholesome, hearty meal.

I loved the way he doesn't kick you out either. As he puts it he's there for several hours to clean the machines so if you wan to sit and natter with friends that's fine by him. Can't say fairer than that, can you?

Good for a quick fry up, or burger and chips etc, not my style but seems to be busy at times. Great for a coffee and bun. average prices as is every thing else.

Came by chance. Good food. Clean restaurant. Warm welcome. Even opened early as he could see us standing outside in the cold!
