This is everything a B&B should be these days, great room no fussy, with a great bed and a great shower, breakfast is the best I have ever had in Swanage, we will be back as Swanage has been come a second home. Sadly no car park. But don't let that put you off this is a great B&B.

Spent three nights here on a long weekend break in mid-June. The room was spotlessly clean and provided with tea/coffee essentials. The breakfasts were superb with a good selection of local sourced produce. I went for the full English on a couple of days (who doesn't?) and then had the kippers on the third day. There is also a very wide selection of cereals and fruits to provide a hearty and filling start to the day. The owners were very informative and were able to offer lots of good advice on sites to see, combining visits, local eateries and suggestions for walks. hey have an adults only rule that does mean the place has a quiet ambience to it; some will like this, some won't.

The only niggle was the wi-fi did not seem to extend to the Panel Room where we stayed.

A couple of caveats that some may need to bear in mind; firstly the access to the bedrooms are via quite steep narrow stairs that may not be suitable for everyone and secondly there is no on-site car parking. We were very lucky in being able to get a spot in the next road (which seemed to be the only road in the immediate vicinity without restrictions) otherwise you will need to leave your car some way away from the B&B on unrestricted roads or one of the public long-term car parks. You can park in the narrow lane by the B&B to load and unload though.

Overall it was a lovely stay and I would imagine you would be hard-pressed to find a more serene and classy location in the centre of Swanage.

We stayed here for a night after a day trip to Monkey World. This B&B is down a little lane but easy to find and it's a good, quiet location. We had chosen The Panel Room, which I loved and the bed was very comfy! There's a TV with a DVD player and free WiFi which is always handy. Although compact, the bathroom had everything you'd need. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, the best I've ever had! There was a good choice, which is displayed on a blackboard. We both went for the Full English, which you could add extras to if you wanted. They use local produce and the bacon, which they get from Wilkswood Farm, was scrummy! It was all beautifully cooked. Not only was the main event fantastic there was also a well stocked sideboard that you could help yourself to. A great selection of fresh fruits, dried fruits, nuts, muesli, cereals, yoghurt, juices etc.
We had a lovely stay and wished it was longer, so we could enjoy more yummy breakfasts! We will definitely be back again next time we're in the area.
Thank you Judie and Clive, you're lovely hosts.

Clean tidy and quiet considering it's location in the centre, the venue was everything we expected. Happy to recommend. We never stay at B&B's as a rule being a gay couple there has been bad press about some B&B owners refusing Gays to stay on arrival. NOT here I'm pleased to say the welcome and the rest of our stay was very warm and very friendly.

From the warm welcome at checkin to the fabulously locaclly sourced breakfast everything here was perfect.
the room ws a good size with comfortable bed and a good hospitality tray which included water as well as holicks, hot chocolate tea and coffee biscuits and chocs.
the breakfast was lovely . There was a DIY cereal table so you could mix and match cereals. dried fruits and nuts including pecans and cashews. The cooked breakfast included local sausage and bacon as well as local free range eggs.
The bulilding is the original Town Hall beautifully restored.
A special mention must go to the hosts Judi and Clive who went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly and it did.

We had a great stay 2 day stay at the Town Hall Lodge. We were given a very warm welcome. The quality of the room and kitchen was superb. The breakfast was really enjoyable and a wide choice. I have recently had to start eating gluton free food and Judi and Clive went out their way to help me. Its in a quiet location but in the heart of the town, so ideal. We will be returning it was that good.
