The guest house is very conveniently located near the Station and Beach.
Nice plentiful breakfast and friendly host. Parking was a issue and if you a light sleeper tan ask for room on the other side of road. Wifi was available but didn't work, but weren't bothered.

Room Tip: As mentioned , if light sleeper avoid the front rooms.

Pleasant on the phone when discussing the accommodation helped persuade us to choose this B&B plus the competitive price of £35 a night which was right
when we arrived we were made welcome form the start, also off road road parking
put a dvd in our room with freeview
The room was nearly like home from home en-suite with bath and shower which was so clean
The beds were super and so comfy
Breakfast was fit for a King with all our peculiarities been attended to like two eggs instead of Bacon,
the Ladies were so beautiful too
Good for local amenities ie Restaurants shops plus preserved railway
stay otherwise you miss out

Room Tip: All rooms are good

Katherine and Sam were very accommodating to all our needs. The breakfast set us up for the day and were a real treat, plenty of food, coffee, tea's flowing. We had a lovely relaxing time welcoming in the New Year. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. We were a party of 16 made up of kids and adults and stayed 3 nights 30/12/11-2/1/12.

Went to swanage for day and decided to stay the night..liked the look of the b&b so enquired about room available as had vacancies.Wanted room for family of 2adults 2 children(aged7 and 9).owners very friendly.offered double and twin room (that were both decorated to a high standard).ok as shared with my daughter (lovely girly time!) and my husband to bond with our son! Rooms clean modern, fresh and reasonable prices. We have stayed in lots of b&b found this one of the best!! Location walking distance to beach and shops.car parking available.Breakfast fresh, cooked lovely, nothing too much trouble.kids very welcome and really enjoed their stay like we did.we will be returning as couldnt get a better b&b.Would be nice if they accepted visa but not a problem to get cash from local branch in swanage. EXCELLENT worth staying. next time would like to stay longer. I have never wrote a review before but felt i had to as empressed as felt the owners deserved it after all their efforts. family from southampton

Room Tip: front rooms bright looking onto road but not noisey ok if like showers.back room quieter big bathroo...

Had a great night here with 2 children. Rooms and public areas very clean. Comfortable bed in a good sized room with plenty of mirrors!
Front garden with seating. Great hosts and a perfectly cooked breakfast. Close to seafront and shops etc. Would recommend and will visit again.

We have stayed in many B and Bs and having read the reviews we chose the Railway ! Much to our disappointment the 'reviews', having stayed there, don't seem to equate !
Our room was very compact for a double (not king-size) with a shower, wc, and basin in a WARDROBE. Privacy was none existent especially with the gaps in the sliding doors.
Breakfast was ok , full "English" , usual standard but portions and quality were not as described in the most recent 'reviews'. Wouldn't return or recommend.
Something fishy about the other reviews though ,all from the same area, month and dates from the calender!!!
