On Our first night in Swanage we decided to dine at the White Swan in the centre of the bustling town, we had not booked but this did not prove a problem we were swiftly seated on a table (unfortunately directly under the specials board so in between mouthfuls we were constantly overlooked ), We were slightly rushed with deciding on the menu the waitress was asking if we had decided literally within 2 minutes of seating that we had to politely ask her for a bit longer.
Wide range of drinks on the menu and were quickly brought to our table, the menu was extensive with good vegetarian options as well as predictable fish being at the seaside and good pub favourites.
The waitress did not elude much charm and sadly did not add no sparkle to making customers happy with both ourselves and other tables and we were not offered additional sauces etc we had to ask, the food came out quickly and was delicious and extremely good value for money with generous portions of delicious home cooked food, I Myself had the vegetable Mousaka and was very impressed that it was layered in aubergine itself rather than layered stodge it was a different and tasty alternative, My husband has the steak and piddle pie and declared it was light and did not lay too heavy.
Will definitely return for the food :) :) :)
