“A coosy place for a drink”
Reviewed 19 May 2014

An inspiring place for a drink with friends. A clean, pleasant, warm pub to visit after a long walk along the beach, around Swanage. Really enjoyed its atmosphere and would definiely stop there for a meal next time.

“Excellent Carvery”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

On Sunday 11th.May 2014 my wife and I were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Carvery and also the courteous and helpful manner in which all the Staff attended to our requirements.Howevever a Carvery is only available on a Sunday which is rather a pity. The choice of meat and quantity was ample. The vegetables were cooked through without them being termed mushy. In consequence I would thoroughly recommend the White Swan Inn to those who have read Reviws of a negative nature which in my opinion should now be discounted. Cooking is an "Art". The meal my wife and I enjoyed could not be faulted. This my wife and I did and in no way were disappointed. I consider myself a good judge of a good plate so visit the White Swan with an open mind on a Sunday Lunchtime so I hope that you will be able to enjoy the meal at other times also when a Carvery is not available.

“Disappointing”
Reviewed 10 May 2014 via mobile

Called in for lunch after walking from Sandbanks. Very watery squash soup, uninspired plough mans, wouldn't recommend.

“Great pub”
Reviewed 9 March 2014

Popped into The White Swan on a weekend break to Swanage. What a great find. Food was really good and staff so helpful and friendly. The service behind the bar was fast and efficient. Nobody seemed to wait a minute to be served which was a a credit to the staff as they were really busy due it the Blues Festival. Would definitely recommend. !
